Second, the location is good. There is no problem with walking to Oita Station in ten minutes. There is an entrance and exit on the roof to connect to the Qilou Commercial Street. So even if it rains, you don't need an umbrella. In addition, there are many shops you need to go to on weekdays such as convenience stores, coffee bars, supermarkets and so on. It is also very close to Kyoto Street. I stayed here for three nights on a business trip. I will book this hotel again if I have the opportunity to come back.

From the north exit of JR Oita station, walk to ”Chuo Dori Street” for about 10 minutes, mymelo bank... When you walk to the main store of Oita bank, you can see the hotel signboard. I booked a single room because I was traveling alone, but I was upgraded to a double room on the 9th floor, which was wide and relaxing despite the weekend. There was a large bath and restaurant on the 10th floor of the top floor, and breakfast was full of Japanese food from 6:30, and the chicken heaven of Oita specialty and ”fry from Nakatsu” were received from the morning. The rice was ”Hinohikari” from local Oita, but it was as delicious as ”nanaboshi” in the hotel in Hokkaido (Kushiro / Shiretoko Shari).

It is convenient to go to Aso Volcano Kusasenri from here. The room is not big, but clean. The location is very good. There is a commercial street outside. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. Recommended

Facilities: Excellent facilities. It is rated 3 stars, but it must be 4 stars. The service is more than 5 stars. Service: Excellent service. They asked for parking spaces, pointed out directions, and gave us coupons for nearby attractions and English and Chinese instructions. I couldn't believe that they prepared ice cubes for our room before we checked in. The girl at the front desk saw that we came from afar and upgraded the sea view room. The breakfast was also good. Hygiene: Very clean hotel. The room is divided into three areas, like a suite, and it is a rare super large room for traveling in Japan. Environment: You can see the sea from the window, and it is 2 minutes away from the beach. It is one JR station away from Beppu University, and 5 bus stops away from the awesome Takasaki Monkey Mountain and Oita Sea Ocean Museum, and 10 minutes away. We walked 600 meters from Beppu JR Station to the hotel, which was acceptable.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Service was very good. Parking was an extra 550 yen per day. Breakfast was Japanese style but did include a bacon and egg cooked in front of each guest with the small Japanese hotpot. Our room fit 3 adults was very nice with clean modern amenities consisting of one room with two single beds, and a sizable living room with futon in the evening for the third bed. Nice view of Beppu tower in our room. Hotspring outdoor was totally enjoyable with a view of the sunrise and the Beppu Bay. Gotta be careful though because for ladies, someone in a boat at the bay might be able to see our naked upper bodies with telescope if we stand up.😅

Travel with a group of friends to Beppu but only 4 of us decided to stay at Amanek for 2 nights. This was the best decision ever as we were closed to the JR station, eateries, Tokiwa shopping mall, Donki and the beach were within walking distance. Only few staff could speak English. Those who speak Japanese only also try their best to serve the guest. I am impressed by how clean and new the whole hotel is. Best of all, I love the free flow of juices & beverages. You could also do take away in the UCC coffee disposible cup. Love the choice of either western or local breakfast with free flow of side dishes. I am surprised by how big the bedroom is and spacious bathroom. The gym equipment tho basic, are new & in good condition. The onsen is clean & modern & I love the warm rooftop pool with an awesome view! Amanek is thoughtful to provide guest with a basket to hold all your onsen needs. Upon check out, I was overcharged for my 2 days of breakfast. The staff was quick to rectify the problem & refunded me on the spot. Yes, would definitely stay in Amanek again in my next visit to Beppu! Thank you for the awesome stay!

The hotel is right next to the sea hell. The pick-up service is very satisfactory. The hotel contacted us by email in advance to confirm the time. We negotiated different dinners for two consecutive days. The main dishes were the same but cooked differently. They were all good. We chose Japanese food for breakfast. The hotel also slightly adjusted the ingredients. The room in the Sora building has its own open-air hot spring, so you don't have to go to the big bath. However, there are not many people in the big bath, and the open-air is also very comfortable. There are fewer beverage machines, and there is no milk for sale after taking a bath.

This time I decided to stay at a slightly better hotel, so I used this one that opened last year and 4 people including 1 preschooler. I stayed in a triple room on the mountain side. I usually only stay in a room with a toilet and a bath immediately after entering, with two beds in the back, and a desk and a TV opposite (child talk). The two children were excited. I can't help but be worried about the food on the buffet table, but I think it's easier to consult with you if you're full if you touch the table service dish first. All-you-can-drink alcohol. I don't usually drink it, but because of poor development (laughs), I had a little apricot dew. If you are a drinker, it is heaven. I think the view on the sea side is good, but that's a consultation with your wallet. I went to the bath from the morning the next day. It was around 6:30, but it was a reasonable entry. It seems that it is crowded if it is late. Breakfast starts at 7:30. The receptionist at check-in asks you the start time, but unlike dinner, it is not an hour system, so if you go at 8:30 or so, you will have a restriction on admission. The staff was also concerned about that area, and the table was about to be cleaned up when the bride & younger child was going to the toilet, and the older child and I were going to pick up dessert. There are some types of buffets that cannot be compared with eating at once in a mix of Japanese and Western styles. There are raw fish and some types of grilled fish are also served at the table. This was delicious. I mean, everything is delicious. Around the lobby on the 1st floor, there is a drink bar in the evening bathing space, and there is a coffee machine in the playroom, which is generous. There is also hell steaming, where you can enjoy plum wine or shochu, so even those who do not eat can enjoy it. Still, I think that eating can enjoy this place. Also, if you stay at peak time, you may be vacant and satisfied if you take early action (evening bath, morning bath, breakfast). I stayed with a lot of children. This time I stayed in combination with Harmony Land (if you go the next day, turn left and turn U). There are many rooms as it is, so it may not be suitable for those who want the quietness of adults. It may be good for a lively but OK group, a group that likes alcohol.
