Ligging Mizo is prachtig, niet druk ook niet in het hoogseizoen waarin wij waren., supermarktje is tegenover mizo. 3 kmr app groot was op de 1 etage, Er stond niet zoals in de beschrijving een tweepersoons bed in een kamer. Maar beide kamers met 3 losse bedden. het was ruim genoeg ,de kleinere appartement hebben grotendeels beter uitzicht op het meer, deze appartementen niet. Appartement saai betreft inrichting. Niets aan de muur. Bedden waren goed, schoonmaak ook voldoende. Ontbijt viel ons mee, behalve de koffie, die is ronduit smerig. Ohrid is een mooi stadje, auto huren en erop uit is ook aan te raden.

Het idee van dit hotel is prima, de uitvoering wat minder. De ligging is fantastisch zo aan het meer. Het mooie centrum van Ohrid op loopafstand via een mooie (pittige) berg route, of om de berg heen. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en ze doen erg hun best. Ontbijt pakketjes stonden klaar op de ochtend van vertrek. Maar het was het allemaal net niet. Maar wij vonden dat prima, gezien de super nette prijs. Dan zijn de verwachtingen al niet heel hoog vooraf. De kamer was heel sober en toch wel wat afgeleefd. Alles hing los, stopcontacten, overal staken buizen uit de muren. Er hingen alleen luxaflex voor de openslaande deuren, die je alleen open of dicht kreeg door de hele luxaflex er eerst af te tillen. En dan nog lag je badend in het licht. Maar de bedden sliepen prima en het was schoon. Balkon heerlijk aan het meer met prachtig uitzicht. Dependance 2 met Meerzicht is aan te bevelen, niet het hoofdgebouw. Wifi daar prima, op ons balkon niet echt. Ontbijt was karig. Er stond een mooi koffie apparaat met bonen, maar er kwam oploskoffie uit wat niet te drinken was. Al met al vooral in hotel geslapen, verder hele dag op pad. Prachtig land, geweldige lieve mensen, mooie stad, heerlijk meer. Echt een aanrader dit land. En als je voor een laaggeprijsd hotel gaat, dan kun je hier prima heen.

For him, I’d give 5*. We don’t usually get delivered to a place by the head waiter 🤭 The reason for this was because when I walked into reception there was a girl gazing at herself through a mirror who seemed oblivious to anything other than her own reflection. I was able to continue my walk where I met more women, I tried to explain that we wanted food but there was a language barrier from both sides. I’ve no idea who they were as they didn’t appear to do anything other than sit around outside at night, bouncers maybe 🤔. Anyway I went back to my hotel moaning … so they sent for Superman to come & rescue us. I was both embarrassed & very surprised at this 😊 But the Head Waiter looked after us very well whenever we popped in. This place was very busy in the other 2 rooms where it catered for coach parties. They often spilled out into the room where we were & most of them smoked, all over us, whilst we were eating 🤢 We missed the Head Waiter on the last few nights, he was replaced by a younger very cheeky model. I say that because when I paid he thanked me & just helped himself to the change. He did look after us, & I would’ve tipped him anyway, but as Catherine Tates nan would say “Worra ******* liberty!”. Whatever, mature Head Waiter was still the best 😛 It was lovely sitting overlooking Lake Ohrid, this & mature Head Waiter sold this place. Another good thing was little Ohrid the dog, if you couldn’t eat your food he could, don’t leave your shoes lying around as he will take those too. We had a few very large, too large meals, & a beer or 2, but it’s a bit like one of those working men’s clubs from years gone by.

Apartment was good, beds good. At the pool, many sunbeds were broken and almost no umbrellas. The breakfast was simple but fine. Dinner was good but no vegetables and little choice. Staff was just nice. A lot of rubbish everywhere with broken items scattered across the site. The jeep safari is highly recommended!

Stayed week in mizo hotel, good location, good lake view But Worse Food and Service, specially hotel it's self need a refurbished. Not recommend to anyone. Staff quite rude they need to learn how to customer service and bit more english.

Maybe the dirtiest hotel in the world. Don't even try. A finger of dust on the ground. Do not go to the bathroom, you will get dirty instead of clean. Kappa tour preference by the way. Beds made from old bunk beds. It's a fucking hotel. Oh my goodness

It is difficult to rate the experience as I actually had a good week in North Macedonia and my experience was actually good. The hotel was hit and miss and with the right management it can be improved. First of all it is the first lake holiday I have ever had and I did like the lake. It was beautiful and the hotel was right next to it. I was given a room with a lake view which was really good. The evening meal was served in the restaurant with a spectacular view. I did like the food which I had to choose on a daily basis out of two options available. However, I hated the actual room which looked cheap with very cheap furniture and very old bedding which I didn't like at all. I also didn't like the fact that the bathroom was never cleaned. The sink looked absolutely filthy. It is so so easy to buy the bleach in bulk to dilute it and use it daily. It won't cost lots of money and it would be a good opportunity to keep it clean. The hotel hosted lots of children who came there for some football tournament and who were banging the doors non stop. It was really irritating and I did feel like going and complaining every evening but I never did. ) TUI provides a free excursion in Orhid and I do recommend it to everyone who comes in Ohrid as you will the things you might not discover yourself. I also took a TUI trip to Albania which was around 40 pounds including really nice lunch and was a quick introduction to another country though the actual trip can or should be improved. I will probably go to North Macedonia again but I would like to try a different hotel. The only reason I chose this hotel was because I could walk into town in the first place. But the cleanliness is the basics which needs to be put right, please.

Everything about this hotel was terrible.Filthy lots of rubbish. Smelly unfriendly staff.poor food. I don’t have anything good to say about this hotel accept don’t go there. Plug socket hanging off the wall. Wallpaper coming off the wall. No smoke or fire alarms in our room or corridors. We stayed on the 1st floor.

We had a beautiful corner room with a view of the lake (room 606). The staff does everything to make you feel comfortable. Cleaning was done every day. We loved sitting on the terrace with a drink and a snack. Super cheap and very delicious..our favorite was waiter Fadil..very nice boy who is very good at his job.he gets a big 10 from us.
