"The only good thing about this place is it's location and the fact that they allow you to keep you baggage for the day free of charge. The rooms are super small and dirty. There was hairs on the sink and pillows and coffee stains in the table. I believe it was not even clear after the last usage. Would not recommend."

"Modern and nice setup as this hotel is quite new. Breakfast was good with typical danish offerings. Could do with more options to be called a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Location is 15mins walk to city square area. Nearby with Netto supermarket. Room is ok but without toiletries and room amenities to comment. Basement parking but be WARNED that only park with hotel black floor label. As if driver can see the floor black label from driving position on first visit to the carpark. The carpark lots around the hotel entrance at carpark is NOT for guests. And you have to pay parking within 4 minutes in this carpark else you will be fined near to 120 Euro. Unlike all other carparks I visited in Denmark where I only pay upon exit for the hours parked. This is street parking underground! I wonder who can complete hotel check in 4 minutes including taking a lift up to the lobby reception. This carpark management is out to scam first timers to this place maybe to keep those carpark inspectors employed."

"Location is excellent! Supermarkets are in walking distance. The room is spacious. It has three beds for us even though we are only two persons. There is a coffee machine which provides a wide ranges of coffee and chocolate for free for the whole stay. We tried chocolate deluxe, latte, cappuccino and mocha. They all taste good. The hotel also provides free ice cream and snacks like cakes or fruit for tea for free. The kitchen has microwave, oven and stove. It is clean too! We could prepare our meals like steak and salmon there. The staff is helpful especially the young handsome guy. This hotel is really good value for money."

"The hotel has a large yard, perfect for kids to play in. Unfortunately, it rained during our stay, so we had to walk through water to get to our room from the yard. The kitchen is very spacious, making it easy to cook meals. I recommend having breakfast there for added convenience. One thing to note is that towels and bed linens come with an extra charge."

"The hotel is new and clean. The room is quite basic. It was a bit cold when I entered around 8 pm, probably because the heating wasn't on full blast yet; it's a hot water heater type of heating, not an air conditioner. There's no air conditioning in the summer. Check-in and check-out are entirely self-service via machines. The double bed is actually two separate single beds pushed together. It's practically impossible to get to the hotel without a car. I was passing through on the highway when it snowed heavily and it was too late, so I decided to stay there for one night. The hotel breakfast was good."

"The location is good, the Andersen Museum is right at the door, and there is an Andersen statue at the door of the hotel; The room is not big, but it is relatively new overall The breakfast is quite satisfactory, with the typical ones, not bad Parking is charged, just behind the hotel, the same price within 24 hours, 150DKK. The biggest advantage: there is a kettle, and it is finally convenient to drink boiled water"

"The Grand Hotel Odense is a very nice hostorical location to stay. All keeps the flair of a grand classical location with the charm of the golden 19th century. Even the elevator looks like from this period! However, you do not miss anything if you stay there. The room bar is free of charge, which completes the grand flair! We loved to stay there! It was a pity the restaurant was not operating during our stay. However, the breakfast was great! It’s a great location to visit the Anderson museum!"

"Staff service is fine, breakfast is fine, location is fine, no toiletries & bring your own. No water kettle. There are non-stop complimentary coffee and tea, though. Parking lot is very limited, get there early and do not drive out afterwards."

"Outside the odense city, the train station takes a taxi for about 300 kronor. Please note that odense city has no uber and bolt services and needs to book taxi to pay by credit card. The hotel is large, but the facilities are old and the bathroom is a bit smelly. In addition, the overall rules are quite satisfactory. After all, Europe is not running to experience the hotel."
