Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa

This is quite a large hotel, and while it definitely shows its age, it's well-maintained and tidy. The room I had this time offered incredibly beautiful views and was very spacious. I particularly enjoyed how the lobby felt very 'backroom-esque' late at night when no one was around – it could almost be a unique selling point! 😂 In terms of location, it's fairly convenient if you have a car, though there's one section with a rather rough mountain road to get up, which might be uncomfortable for performance cars.

Everything was great! The staff, from the luggage handlers to the check-in team and even the cleaning staff, were all incredibly friendly. Seriously, everything was just fine. I come here often, and it's consistently good, but there were no crabs at dinner this summer. It's a slight step down compared to winter.

Our first family trip to Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa was amazing. Perched on a hill, the views from our room were absolutely stunning. It's the perfect spot for a resort getaway. We also enjoyed the hot stone spa, which was wonderfully relaxing and refreshing! For dinner and breakfast, we had the buffet. There was a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious – we were thoroughly satisfied. It made for a truly wonderful family trip.

The space was quite spacious, and we even got to bowl. However, there wasn't much oil on the lanes. It was a shame that we couldn't bring in our own drinks. For our group of six, the room felt a bit cramped. On the upside, breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed a peaceful meal at a window-side table, which was perfect for our group of six.

There were a lot of small children, and the restaurant was noisy. The room was small.
