It's an apartment. The first floor on the second floor is rented out. It's not bad, but it only has two beds.

Room 8b was spacious, nice and tidy for the 4 of us. Bathroom was great. And that for 1 night. Fine. Breakfast was way too overpriced. Small hard rolls. No orange juice. No fresh coffee or tea. Few toppings. The owner was willing to give headache tablets for my wife Dr Migrane. Top No cheerful music, too bad And the Hungarian looked us out the door. A full-time reception is an area for improvement

1. Room was in poor condition and generally not maintained well. The carpet is old and has large iron burn marks visible. Room didn't even have a glass we that could drink from. 2. The whole room suffered an electrical power failure at around 22:00hrs leaving us using our phone torch to see things until we went to sleep. ( tip to owner ) the filthy and very noisy extractor fan in the bathroom is probably the cause. 3. There are NO staff on duty at night so we couldn't get somebody to rectify the electrical power outage. When I complained in the morning the lady pointed at a phone number on the wall which I could have called.. I replied I would have if I'd have had a signal . Owners should make it very clear in communication with clients that no one is physically on duty at night at the hotel. ( not sure if that is a breach of law in Austria for this size of hotel ? ) 4. Building is 4 stories high but has no lift so avoid if you have heavy bags 5. Our stay was 1 night and in low season so room rate is probly half of high season charges. I would be doubly disappointed if I'd paid high season prices 6. My opinion: Location good 👍 but unfortunately accommodation not so good 😕
