The Inn was staffed with very friendly, and helpful people. The food was better than average for a hotel/motel with included breakfast. The rooms were clean and well decorated. They recommended eating at the nearby Bluff for dinner, although due to construction was a little hard to get to.

First of all, I wanted to mention that another motel up the street was about 30.00 higher....the Kansas Country Inn was much more like home...we found a new friend that we will remember on our next trip to Colorado.. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the rooms were clean, cozy and warm.....!! ...Next morning the breakfast was better than expected...We felt like we were in our own kitchen....home spun smells with an array of breakfast charm that we didn't expect...Thank you so much for giving us the hospitality of a warm reception.....we will definetly be back in the future......

We have stayed here 3 times over the years; we try to plan our trip home from Colorado to stay here, and this year was just as good. The room is great – the beds and bedding. There are 3 large bedside tables, a clock with 2 outlets on one of them which is nice for plugging in phones. The place is very clean! The pole lamp in the corner is great – the room could really use one more lamp, though, in the other corner where it’s pretty dark. A chair in the room would also be nice. (There’s plenty of room!) It’s also thoughtful that they put in a plug-in bug catcher which had caught a mosquito. I can only do 3 stars though for a couple of reasons: You can’t have a quiet hotel when large trucks park outside your door and leave at 5:45 in the morning, and the highway is right there. You can also hear toilets flushing upstairs. The frig was kinda noisy until we turned on the fan of the a/c. There was an almost empty box of kleenex and no extra; good thing we had brought our own box. Breakfast wasn't as great as I remember from before. Good scrambled eggs, but the hash brown casserole was pretty dry. The gravy was awful. There was a waffle, but didn't want that. All-in-all, we will probably stop here again next time we drive across Kansas.

This motel had a friendly staff and a comfortable night stay at a good price. The TV was primarily a gateway for various streaming services, so it was not local TV and cable networks like you usually see. This was a minor issue in that I was planning to watch some of the Olympics that evening, but did not find them to be available. But it was only a minor issue for an otherwise very good and reasonably priced stay.

Small family owned hotel. Friendly staff, pet friendly, nice hot breakfast, close to attractions, has a BBQ to cook dinner. Quiet location. Comfortable beds. Swimming pool and gazebo to enjoy time outdoors. It offers hook ups for campers.

The hotel was perfectly average for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the door included an extra deadbolt along with the chain to make you feel more secure. The front desk quickly addressed any requests we had - for example, there was no soap in our room, and they were quick to apologize and had some waiting for us in the lobby. We bumped our rating to 4 because of the ample breakfast - we felt that was a large part of the value of our stay. We asked at check-in to stay on the 2nd floor so probably did not get one of the renovated rooms other reviews refer to. Some of the improvements needed in the room we stayed in - no lighting on an entire side of the room so it was VERY dark (we recommend a standing lamp maybe), the bathroom was very worn with discoloration along the seams and fixtures, and the tub was not wiped out recently so we had to clean it before using it (but this was probably because they were not expecting to use the room that night). And we are not sure if the garbage cans had not been rinsed out recently, but in the outside spaces out front there was a decided stench when we checked in (the temperatures in the 90s probably did not help). We are mixed on whether we would stay here again or not, but my husband says he would just for the sausage gravy at breakfast!

Enjoyed our overnight stay here. Older well kept motel with so updates. Bed had new mattress. Sheets were nice and clean. Bathroom was small as are most in older motels. Breakfast was awesome. Homemade breakfast casserole was delicious along with homemade breakfast cake. Add biscuits and gravy and homemade oatmeal to make meal phenomenal. The pool was clean and pretty. Owner has built beautiful deck on back of motel.

This was the best little hotel of our trip!. The room was clean & neat. The bedspread was unique & colorful; which is unusual. It was easy to find & park. The breakfast was AMAZING! & the server at breakfast was really good! They even thought to leave a rag in the room to use to clean off your luggage or windshield from the dust; instead of dirtying one of their good towels.

We stopped here instead of a chain hotel because of the many positive reviews, and we are certainly glad we did. This property certainly looks from the road like a throwback to the 1970's, and it reminds me of many motels we stayed in when I was younger. It is old, yes, but everything is carefully maintained and the bathroom had recently been substantially updated. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, the pool looked inviting, and the breakfast was superb and home made. Cost less than an insipid chain hotel but delivered much greater value. Recommended.
