We attended for our daughter's wedding. Overall a good experience BUT: I had to ask which drinks on offer were non alcoholic at the start of the event. For the sit down meal, there was only water on the tables, apart from alcoholic wine. One table with young children was provided with ribena, which one parent was drinking as he didn't want to have alcohol. There ought to have been adult non-alcoholic drinks on the table, as well as the wine. Plenty of people had to drive home that evening - therefore, a non alcoholic option (not simply water) should have been there. I had to ask for something to have with the meal, and then when the toast was poured, again had to state that I wasn't drinking alcohol, and it took a while for the staff to find a non alcoholic option (which was really nice, by the way!). My husband and I opted for the vegan meal. The 'pithivier' (pie) was far too salty to manage. The vegetables were only blanched, not cooked even to al dente. Those of us with elderly teeth struggled. I passed on the pie and the dessert cake to my ever hungry son. Vegan food can be delicious, and I am sorry that this was not the case on what was otherwise a well organised and happy occasion.
