Candlewood Suites Fort Campbell - Oak Grove

Worst service I have ever experienced. Check in was terrible. Desk clerk couldn't help me. Went to room. Overpriced. Wanted out of room. Told I woul not be charged. Found email stating policy was to charge me for room. Looks like I will stop using this company.

This was a great choice for our weekend stay. We came to Fort Campbell for our grandsons first birthday party. Unfortunately, the forum that was booked for the party did not work out. We approached the staff at Candlewood, they offered their meeting space for our party. It was a nice sized place for our get together. We also requested a handicapped accessible room for our stay. This room had perhaps the best handicapped accessories of any place we've stayed at. The room was at the end of the hall, so relatively quiet. There was some traffic noise all night long, but we are heavy sleepers so that wasn't as big an issue for us. All staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Although they don't offer free breakfast, on Thurs.-Sun. They do offer free fruit and fruit bars in the lobby. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely return.

Good - clean comfortable bed/hot water and good water pressure/location near freeway Bad - poor insulation could hear traffic and person stomping around above us ALL night! Stale stuffy room, dated and not so clean. Off our list

I've stayed at other Candlewood's before and to date this is my favorite room in any of them. It was clean, Spacious, had a full kitchen with cookware, and a more impressive office type space. The cabinets to all this looked updated and modern. The bathroom was also spacious with a larger shower then I'm used to in a hotel. The bathroom also has very nice soap, lotion, and shampoo bottles available for use. The only downfall to my stay was the noise. I was in room 114. Immediately off the lobby, front desk, pantry area, gym, and laundry room. All of these services which are 24/7 (Great for all of us customers) But not great for the rooms located next to these community spaces. I would recommend the hotel install none slamming doors or somehow make the closest guest rooms to these facilities more sound proof. Throughout the day and night I constantly heard doors, people, and luggage carts. One morning @ 0645 it sounded like a luggage cart fell over and woke me, and I could not get back to sleep. --If you stay I recommend you request rooms away from the lobby! Also an odd thing about this hotel is the lady that seems to be living partially in her car in their parking lot. Apparently she has a room in the hotel, but seems to still prefer sitting in her car at all times of day and night. I first saw her in her car around midnight returning to the hotel and most parking spots were empty except near her. I mistook her as a man in a very hoarder looking car as its stuffed full, and was very hesitant to park near him. But according to the staff this is a nice woman, who stays there, and is harmless -I guess she just loves her car?!

BIG THX to Tina at the front desk who was warmly welcoming, the perfect combination of friendly & efficient & check-in was a breeze :-) Automatic front doors & elevator to upper floors. Room #205 was spotless with beautiful view to the west. Really appreciated the kitchenette & especially the full size refrigerator. As someone on the road a LOT I travel w/Koolatron fridge & insulated lunch cooler in order to eat healthily & avoid fast food/chain restaurants. Great to be able to refreeze blue ice packs! Free wifi w/strong signal. Enjoyed TCM movies. Ample desk, table & counter space. Slept well on very comfortable bed with quality linens & both soft & firm pillows. Plenty of hot water & generous supply of bright white fluffy towels. Lovely property, nicely manicured grounds. I saw other guests enjoying the patio/BBQ area out back. Because the parking lot was brightly lit I felt my vehicle was safe as I slept & also felt personally safe as I loaded up & left out @ 5am next morning. Highly recommend & look forward to staying here again.

We have stayed here before when traveling cross country and had a pleasant experience. Once again, we were traveling the same route and thought we would stay here. The female evening front desk associate was very friendly and welcoming. She was efficient about getting us checked in, thanked me for my rewards membership, and we got settled in our room. The mattresses were nice, the room was clean overall, and we rested well. Only two bath towels were in the bathroom for a room with two beds. The bar of hand soap was also unwrapped on the bathroom counter top. Checkout is at 11 AM, and as we had driven 600 miles the day before and arrived late, I put the do not disturb magnet on the door so we would not be awoken by housekeeping at 8:30. At 10:30, a housekeeper banged on the door. We were up, I answered it and let her know we'd be checking out. At 10:45, a different housekeeper banged on the door and asked if we were checking out. We are packing to get out the door, and at 11:00, the front desk called and asked if we were checking out because it was 11 AM! Oh my goodness.....I said yes, we were getting loaded (zipping up suitcases) and I was coming to get a cart so we could leave. Wow. We own several hotels as a side business, and one of them is an IHG property. Let me assure you that this does not happen at our properties where a guest is hounded, and this is on a Wednesday morning when there is no way they are sold out that night. There was only one housekeeping cart on the floor when we left. In addition, when I was in the elevator, one of the same housekeepers got on the elevator with me, glanced at me, and continued to study her phone without talking to me or acknowledging me. She was also not in uniform, and walked off the elevator without saying a word. So, service makes a 5 star review. Five stars for the check-in service, and the rating is lowered due to our morning experience.

Great front desk staff, and friendly housekeepers. Quiet, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Pet friendly which is great for those traveling with their fur babies! We will stay here any time we come through to Fort Campbell!!
