The hotel is ok for folks passing through town. It has the feel of a B&B but the service of a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was clean but dimly lit. The bedding had some stains and was a bit tattered. The temp got pretty cold at night but that is just a warning to anyone traveling in Nuwara Eliya and not a reflection on the hotel. I saw some of the other rooms they had and those were much better. We stayed in the Rose room, which they said was the delux room, but the other rooms looked much nicer. Breakfast was nice. This is a no frills hotel. Not luxury but still pretty good.

The building was nice and the room was large and the staff was great. The location is also convenient, 15 minutes drive from the station and 5 minutes walk from the bus terminal. I was staying at a B&B in the countryside. It was a very European-style house.
