It is a bit far from the city center. It is a very British-style hotel. The small garden is beautifully trimmed, the room is clean, and there is a balcony. It faces the tea garden. It is quiet at night and the air is fresh in the morning. I like this hotel. The hotel provides a buffet dinner with many varieties. Breakfast is also a buffet, with not many varieties. Very good British service.

We stopped at 6 hotels during our visit to sri lanka this one was a total disappointment. On checking in we was shown to our room , to find that the bed linen was damp. My wife pulled back the covers to find the matrass was mouldy. They offered us another room but after seeing mould on the matrass we decided to leave and find alternative accommodation. We complained to our guide and they asked the hotel for a response., which was we shouldn't have pulled the sheets back. Terrible experience and to be honest spoiled a day couple of days of our holiday as every time we moved hotels we was nervous to get a similar experience. Luckily we didn't and all the other hotels have been good to excellent

King size Room with breathtaking location in middle of the jungle!! Great food with hospitality and good staff. Wonderful buffet breakfast!! Overall it was a excellent stay for us. Highly recommend for families, kids and couples Thanks very much to the entire team !!

Eine wunderschöne Anlage, recht außerhalb gelegen aber sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, im Bad gab es aber leider leichten Schimmel und für 10 Minuten warmes Wasser musste man eine. Schalter betätigen (und dann eine Stunde warten) . Das war Essen war mittelmäßig. Das Personal hingegen sehr freundlich .

The hotel is at a very peaceful and tranquil location. The staff members are humble and hospitable. Special thanks to Chef Jayavardana and his food and beverage team to provide delicious food during every meal. Being vegetarians, we got enough options. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nuwara Eliya.

Was only over night but room is ok, staff are very kind and hospitable.……………………. I tried only soup for the dinner but also was very good………….. Location wise also good It is surrounded by nature…………………….. Thanks and I will come back…………………….

An amazing location in the middle of the tea planation. The hotel is an historically building once owned by the brother of the first prime minister of Sri Lanka. We stayed in the Princess Room. Two extra king size beds along with all amenities. Also heater as evenings can be cool. The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were kind and considerate. Food lovely and the majority locally sourced. Would recommend.
