Warmly decorated and unique hotel! The service is a bit British, and everything is considerate! While the children were playing billiards, several waiters were on hand to teach them; in the morning, they could go shopping around, there was a lake, and the scenery was pretty good. Western breakfast is generous in portion and tastes good. This hotel is recommended 👍

Ciao. La location è stupenda, parecchio retrò, pulita e ben curata. Il personale è curioso e molto disponibile. Assolutamente non invadente, vuole soddisfare il cliente. Il ristorante apre alle 20,30 e chiude presto, gli ospiti son sempre pochi. C'è la sala biliardo ed è bella! Immerso nel verde a 12 min dal Lago. Buon pernottamento come posto di appoggio TOP.

We stayed at the Firs in Jan 2024, it was the last leg of our Sri Lanka trip. We can safely say that it was the best stay we had in Sri Lanka. The location of the hotel is beautiful, nested between trees. Close to the tea estate and the city centre. The food by the chef is the best we've had in Sri Lanka. The staff is very courteous and helpful. There's not much to do in Nuwara but I'd just come there to stay at The Firs

The bungalow is located in a very scenic environment, not too far from the town yet away from all the hectic mess. It's a very old bungalow maintained to the very best. Rooms are spacious and really clean so are the bathrooms. The food taste so good and the personalised menu for breakfast is a very generous thing. The staff is really friendly and amazing. The manager Sudharshan is the magic man behind all this wonderful place. Friendly, pleasant and very professional approach makes it very easy to deal with him. A big thumbs up to Sudharshan. We will definitely visit this bungalow soon and sorry for the late review. Good luck and keep up the good work

Nice place a bit outside of the town in a very quiet neighbourhood.
We had a very nice night playing pool with the staff. Good breakfast and a nice room in an old colonial style building. Overall a bit run down though.
