Hotels Near Nürnberg Frankenstadion in Nuremberg

We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.

Hotel molto silenzioso con personale cordiale e disponibile. Posizione strategica per accesso alla zona fiera. A 7min a piedi è raggiungibile la stazione metro di Messe per raggiungere il centro in 15 min. Carino il fatto che se decidi di non farti sostituire per due notti gli asciugamani puoi avere un buono omaggio per una bibita al bar.

We enjoyed our stay. Three of us had a large room with three twin beds. And the wonderful vroom vroom alarm clock. No problem! That's why everyone stays there! We had a good dinner there, and good breakfast. And Lucia, the Italian chicken place across the road was great too! Only small complaint is the bathroom has no door for privacy.

Service, breakfast, location, quietness and hygiene are all good. It just feels a bit old. In fact, the facilities are okay. However, looking at the carpet (which is actually clean), it feels old.

Eco-Apartments, Nürnberg An interesting property! Trying to get entry is cumbersome! But when calling the property reception so to speak, the lady very helpful and assisting us to get Credit Card style cards issued which worked like a charm, suggestion don’t reply on the internet (correction card worked fine first day, but 2nd day onwards didn’t work at the Gym, had to get the internet log in working, wasted 25 minutes) The Good: its walking distance to FrauenTor & Altstadt including 2 great churches & shopping/markets etc! Apartment itself small but nicely furnished, great for 1 person, adequate at best for 2, if you carry luggage for 6 weeks! (Furniture apparently mainly chinese made el cheapo) Kitchenette small but works! BE AWARE, no microwave! But everything else available including 2 ceran tops! Equipment and table ware plenty for this size apartment! Fridge good size, standard oven available! (Correction, found the microwave by accident, was build into the Oven function, would have been nice to have an instruction/introduction somewhere!😥) While the crockery was decent, cutlery and cookery ware not only pretty cheap but not user friendly) Large balcony, but view to the back of a bunch of buildings! So don’t stay there if a nice view is what you are looking for! The bathroom, barely can make it, quite tight, so if you are large size, watch it! 😂😂😂 Be aware, no service at all, you gotta run around for towels (pay extra) refills for Soap & Shampoo not barely enough, Staff working there if you are lucky to catch one, doesn’t speak either English or German and only give you a blur / disinterested look! The Bed, oh my god, size is ok, but the bed covers are a joke, especially in the winter! 2 small cushions, and 2 even smaller ones, sorry but not good enough! 2 sets of chairs, one for the mini dining table, another 2 one for mini desk and a kind of a smallish comfy chair! The heating system, if like us you come from a warmer climate, be aware that the heating is set to 21C, for living area can adjust, but for bathroom it will always reset to 21C even if you want to increase the temperature, it will eventually come down, especially annoying if you need to dry clothing on the provided rack! WIFI, available, but don’t hold your breath, seems when most residents try to access them expect constant slowdown/interruptions! Downloading of mail can take time! In today’s world not good enough! Gym, surprisingly, even if it is located in the dungeons, good quality and choice of equipment, so if this is your thing, it’s better then most places we visited! However, better speak German if you want to use some of the equipment, such as step master, the cycle & treadmill! Carpark, goodness, it’s tighter then tight, access through the room card, be ultra careful! it’s ok for mini and smart cars, but for a mid size SUV! Good luck! The B&B HOTEL Nürnberg-Hbf was a great choice for my stay in Nuremberg. Its prime location right next to the main train station made it incredibly convenient for arriving and departing, as well as exploring the city. With numerous tourist attractions within easy walking distance, I was able to effortlessly immerse myself in Nuremberg's rich history and culture. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. While I didn't have the opportunity to experience breakfast and the hotel's amenities, its unbeatable location alone made it a standout choice.

Die Anreise hat leider eher schlecht begonnen, da an der Schranke zur Parkgarage erst mal Verwirrung entstanden ist. Zunächst ist die Feuerschutztür zu, ein rotes Lämpchen leuchtet und die vielen Knöpfe am Gerät sind nicht beschriftet. Letztendlich gelang es mir mich mit der Rezeption zu verbinden, welche mir zunächst erklärt hat, dass sie mich nicht reinlassen können, da es ja keine Plätze mehr gibt (rotes Lämpchen ist dafür der Indikator - das muss man scheinbar selber wissen). Große Alternativen gibt es draußen aber nicht, da man sich direkt an einer Parkplatzlosen Straße befindet, direkt neben dem Bahnhof. Letztendlich wurde ich reingelassen, und siehe da.....2-3 Parkplätze frei und noch 4-6 weitere Behindertenparkplätze. Schlechtes Management auf ganzer Linie! So möchte man nach einer langen Reise aus dem Ausland nicht begrüßt werden. Der Eingangsbereich und die Rezeption, sowie die Bar, sehen sehr nett aus. Der Check-In erfolgt recht zügig und man kann sich schnell auf sein Zimmer zurückziehen. Mein Feedback bezüglich der Garage wurde allerdings beinahe gekonnt ignoriert, wenn auch angehört. Immerhin. Minibar gibt es keine, die darf man sich im Eingangsbereich selbst auffüllen. Da musste ich einfach nur lachen. Da kann man gleich mit seinem Rucksack zum Supermarkt gehen und sich alles billiger auf das Zimmer schleppen. Ich glaube das Hotel hat den Sinn einer befüllten Minibar auf dem Zimmer nicht ganz verstanden. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr nett, auch relativ ruhig, wenn man bedenkt in welcher Gegend man sich befindet. Alles war sehr ordentlich und sauber, auch optisch sehr nett dekoriert finde ich. Eine Freundin von mir hatte ein Zimmer in einem anderen Stockwerk. Leider kann man mit seiner Zimmerkarte, welche für den Lift notwendig ist, nicht in andere Stockwerke fahren. Super mühsam hier 3-4 Stöcke die Treppe auf und ab zu laufen. Dann die nächste Überraschung (auch wenn das eher ein ”erste-Welt-Problem” ist). Netflix ist auf dem Fernseher gesperrt. Ein kurzer Besuch bei der Rezeption sollte zwar für Licht in der Sache Sorgen, aber vielmehr schuf es Verwirrung, nachdem mir erklärt wurde, dass Netflix nur in den Junior-Suiten oder aufwärts freigeschalten ist. Das W-Lan ist zwar gratis Im ganzen Hotel (was bedeutet dass Netflix am eigenen Handy funktioniert), aber am TV-Gerät wird es bewusst gesperrt. Wo ist da die Logik? Der Essensbereich ist leider etwas ungünstig positioniert, allerdings war das Buffet ganz gut, sowohl von der Qualität als auch von der Auswahl. Nur die warmen Speisen könnten etwas wärmer sein, aber das scheint heutzutage in der Hotelbranche schon normal zu sein. Es ist am Wochenende eher schwer ein Platz zu finden, um 09:30 Uhr waren nur noch 2 Tische frei (bei mehreren dutzend vorhanden Tischen). Check-out war schnell und unproblematisch. Basierend allerdings auf den oben beschriebenen Erfahrung finde ich das Hotel zu teuer! 2 Nächte mit Parkplatz und Frühstück machten fast 300€ aus. Ich glaube dieses Hotel hat

Location very comfortable, face to the metro, well-cared and friendly staff and with excellent English. I suggest a few improvements, since the client is also business. The hostel was probably full during my stay, so the bathrooms were not clean as I would expect them, and two only toilets for men on the floor seem to me few, because I had to stay in the coat. I would like to have a more choice for breakfast, especially for the sweet but also for the salt.

We stayed one night, the room was well cleaned, the bathroom well-equipped, and the bed comfortable; there was no air con, but there was a fan instead which worked alright for us. Lighting was very nice and well-arranged too. Little gummibears from Haribo on the pillows was a nice touch. Parking was paid (8 euro a night), but easy to access and use. The only glitch was that according to the hotel info, checkout time was 11am, while the lady at the reception desk insisted very much we check out at 10 instead. Also, it would be nice to have something warm to drink in the evening, but there were only cold drinks available at the machine downstairs and no kettle in the room.

good Hotel in Nürnberg,not far fromthe Train station.Walking distance or two underground stops tothe inner historic town centre. Clean rooms,,compfy beds.A bottle of water and shampoo are supplied. the breakfast choice is very good,with hot food and coffee machine.And attentive staff.The food gets topped up as soon as they see its run out.Good choice of dishes for breakfast,,It was nice having a water jug to make your own tea and coffee.Good Room service.The windows are double glazed,,so its quiet. .This Hotel is to be recommended.
