We chose Petzengarten party because of a promo price through ***********. It is located a short walk from a bus stop, and from there you can use public transit to get pretty much anywhere you want to go in Nuremberg. That being said, if you want to walk everywhere from the hotel, you will not find much in the way of tourist interest very close. The bus is your friend. The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Happily, they even had an elevator, which made the day we walked over 19 miles much more bearable at the end. There was a mini fridge in the room, but no kettle, nor could we wheedle one from the staff. It wasn't always easy to find staff while we were there. You do have to hunt around a bit. Do yourself a favor and take your room key with you, as the front door gets locked earlier than advertised. Your door key will open the front door. Breakfast on the weekend had a good variety of food, but come Monday it had been pared down. All in all, a decent place to stay, though I think the full room rate is high for what you get. The Booking deal made it work for us.
