The hotel is located about 10 minutes' walk from the main fire station and not far from the old town. It is very cost-effective. I recommend the spicy hot pot in Chengdu. The beef is super delicious.

Very good hotel, NH quality. The old town (altstadt) is within walking distance, although it is not right next door (about 5 or 10 minutes). For my group (two adults and a child) the premium room was a bit overcrowded, but overall it was very good. Something I don't like about NHs is that when you turn on the bathroom light the whole room lights up, which is uncomfortable at night. The hotel parking is expensive (20€ per night in August 2024). The parking possibilities outside are few and also expensive. There is a parking lot on the opposite sidewalk on the left for €12 for 24 hours (August 2024). It is the cheapest parking lot in the area but it is actually an open space next to the train tracks without surveillance, not a parking lot with delimited spaces, it is an open space where you pay €8 less than at the hotel.
