Awashima Hotel

I stayed overnight in a group of 4 friends from high school. I went with a friend who went with me because of the contact with an uninhabited island where I stayed by a dedicated ferry. We took the shuttle bus from Mishima Station on the Shinkansen, but since this bus was gorgeous, we were very excited from that time (although the return was an ordinary microbus). When you arrive at the dock, there is a dedicated luxurious waiting room, which is differentiated from customers who go to the aquarium on the same island. When I was ashore by the hotel, I was in the waiting room, but the polite staff welcomed me and guided me to the lobby with a wide 々 through the road to the garden decorated with sculptures and plants. It won't end if you write in this tone, so I'll do it here, but the whole building is wonderful, such as the splendid hallway with artworks on the second floor. The cigar bar, which is like a luxury country club or a cruise ship, makes you feel the style. The staff was not very conspicuous and it was a good point that I was able to spend freely in the hotel without hesitation. The room was a Japanese style room, but there was a living room between the Japanese room and the bedroom on the sea side, and it was a relaxing construction as a wide 々 including the bathroom, and it was too much to relax by four people. The view of the sea and Mt. Fuji from the room was also great. And the great service is a drink service including beer and wine until 7 pm. From 7 am, you can only enjoy soft drinks and coffee, but you can take it back to the scenic lounge or your room. Due to the convenience of one of my friends, I only had breakfast this time, but the level of food was high and the service was perfect, so I should be able to expect dinner quite a bit. Come next time. As for the bath, I wanted to take the open-air bath with good spring quality and the best view. I enjoyed Mt. Fuji standing up from the sea in front of me blessed with the weather. It was a very luxurious hotel stay. Thank you to your friend who taught me such a nice place. Then, although the scale is small, I was able to enter the Awashima Aquarium for free, where I can feel the passion of the staff. It's like a hotel wanderer, but it's a really nice place, maybe it's a hidden gem that you want to hide for those who have stayed there.

I stayed for one night with my family on Sunday. I stayed in the mountain side room ”botan” on the 3 floor. The room was well cleaned and I was able to spend a pleasant time without falling dust. Dinner was from 18:30, so I had time to go to the coast in front of the inn. It was probably a beautiful sandy beach, but now there are a lot of driftwood and garbage on the sandy beach, and the scenery is not good. I personally liked bathing, so I tried to dive into the sea, but it was zero visibility, that is, it was a dirty sea with low transparency. The inn had a shower and a water supply for washing feet for guests who came back from the sandy beach. In addition, the bath in the public bath was called hot spring, and the address of Atami hot spring was written in the Noh writing. In my guess, it was seen as a bath that carried hot water from Atami and circulated. The quality of the spring is not evaluated, but there are various kinds of soap and I enjoyed it. Dinner was devised in the style of kaiseki cuisine while using common materials. The breakfast was good. The best thing was that there were two table tennis stadiums, and I was able to play table tennis in my family after eating at night and in the morning. After checking out, I visited the nearby Numazu Goyo residence Memorial Park. Thank you for your pleasant memories of Numazu.

The good points were the 35m2 room with a Japanese-style bed and the cheerful and hardworking foreign staff. The room was very calming with a wooden design, and the view from the upper floors was amazing. It was impressive that only one foreign woman was smiling and waving until the end when we left. We were able to make a reservation for the popular private bath, ”Sunset Brilliance,” at 9pm. The view was certainly great, but it was glass-walled, muggy, and our entire bodies were visible from the fishing boats (although I think you would have to use binoculars to see us), so we turned off all the lights, undressed, and got into the bath. I recommend going during the day to enjoy the view, but my wife said it was impossible during the day. The food, which is their specialty, was delicious, but not as good as we expected. What made an impression on me was the white rice, the seasoned rice, and the squid marinated in okinawa. The sashimi was good, but I was bothered by the fact that it was lined up from the beginning. I was also concerned about the salt in the salt-based broth pot. I'm not sure if the restaurant's concept is to enjoy the taste of the ingredients, but if they had squeezed some citrus or a sophisticated sesame sauce, I would have been able to enjoy all the dashi. What bothered me was that the menu was provided and the contents never changed. There was almost no point in having it there, so there was no chawanmushi, and the boiled fish was pan-fried, and the contents of the dishes were different from the menu, and there was no detailed information. The foreign staff tried hard to explain the dishes, but I refrained from asking questions because I felt it would be rude to ask in detail. There was a wide selection of breakfast dishes, but the dried horse mackerel served later was not freshly grilled, and the rolled sushi roll* was hard and cold. I wondered if the grated yam with yam was pre-made. It looked gorgeous, but it didn't feel very homemade. Overall, I was satisfied with the stay because I was able to stay cheaply using travel discounts, but I don't think I would return at the regular price.

I really liked it. The common areas, rooms, and bathrooms were all very clean. The drink bar and reading space were also great. And the late-night snacks were a nice touch. Next time, I'll save on dinner and stay again.

Numazu's only nigoriyu natural hot spring inn. There was only one hot spring (this one is large), and it was a men's and women's exchange system, and only women's time was at night. There is no noren for men and women, and you hang the tags for the men's and women's baths yourself, so the person entering is wrong. I heard a male customer say, ”I'm blind and can't see the bill, so I'm making a mistake.” I want men and women to hang their noren properly. In the morning, my spouse was wearing a man's tag, but when he was in the men's bath dressing room, he said that a woman tried to enter. I think that mistakes happen because the noren for men and women is not hung and the guests hang the tags with small characters. In my case, I don't take a bath after drinking, so I went to a hot spring, but in the end I couldn't enter the one with a hot spring. When I talked with another female customer in the bath, she complained, ”The men's and women's baths are switched between men and women.” I agree (and mainly the women's bath is not wide). In addition, there are no open-air baths in either place. Rinse in shampoo, body soap and soap are installed. There was no lotion. We recommend that you bring it with you. Well, the room was a Japanese-style room with a futon. Wi-Fi is only in the lobby. From the room, I could see the city of Numazu, and I could see the view of Numazu's large observatory water gate in the distance. Meals were separated from other groups. For some reason, it smelled like curry, and many people from the training camp were there. I made a reservation for fresh seafood from Suruga Bay. But I thought it was a normal inn dinner. Overall, it was a good amount to eat. There weren't many kinds of sake, and there was only one kind of cold sake. The breakfast was well-balanced, especially the dried mackerel was delicious.

The hotel has a history of more than 100 years. Regardless of whether you have to worry about the hotel’s brand new decoration, the hotel is quiet and has all-day services, and each room has a dedicated person responsible for the service. The Japanese breakfast arranged by the hotel makes you even want to eat lunch. Dinner is very good, it is the standard of kaiseki cuisine, which really surprised us, because it is usually difficult to order kaiseki cuisine in Japan with children. The pure Japanese-style tatami is suitable for children's needs to roll around at any time. Soaking in the semi-outdoor hot spring in the room, you can see Mount Fuji and the sea view. The scenery is pleasant. At night, listening to the sound of the waves and falling asleep, the waves hit the shore like a lullaby. When the hotel goes out, turn right and walk 1 minute to the Izu Mitsu Aquarium. Dolphin shows one after another, you can watch penguins up close, and you can also buy fish tickets to feed dolphins and sea lions. The price is also very reasonable. A dolphin is 500 yen, and there is a bait from a gashapon to feed other fish. Since it was built near the sea, it is also a great place to see Mount Fuji. Going out of the hotel and turning left is 7-11. It is also very good to buy some ice cream and come to the hot spring. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Izu Nagaoka Station. If you want to go to other places, there are two bus stops in front of the hotel, which can reach Numazu City or Nagaoka Station, which is very convenient. The hotel goes down the stairs and is a beach. It is very convenient for children to play in the water. After playing well, they can wash their feet at the entrance of the hotel. The waiter will wait for you with a foot towel on the side. Let me mention that there is a fishing port not far from the hotel. The fishery association’s restaurant offers fresh fish sashimi and fried fish, which is very good. I will definitely come again next winter to see Mount Fuji in winter. This hotel also has a name, the impeccable hotel on Mount Fuji, which is definitely well-deserved. Give you some photos, the buyer show and the seller show are absolutely the same. I hope everyone will have a good memory after moving in like me
