These comments are totally related to Trip.com booking and not against Extended Stay Hotel.
When I arrived at this site, Extended Stay personnel (person called AJ) at this site did not acknowledge or have the booking confirmation from Trip.com.
I did call trip.com (spoke with Minu ?) , who was not able to either confirm with the hotel site (afterwards she called directly) and spoke with the front desk.... and re-book me at the rate. They did neither.
I ended up booking Extended Stay myself (while in the lobby) to finish the night.
Next morning, I learned the next morning that trip.com when ahead and pushed the bill through to my Visa, knowing I was booking with the site directly.
After several emails, I had to 'supply detailed receipts' for my individual booking, AND, receive payment in 10-14 days.
And, because I paid a higher rate, I was promised the price difference. However trip.com was providing coins for a future booking, or with check/cash in 14 days. However, now I find out that trip.com wants my ACH bank account details for direct wire transfer for this which I will not supply. Please apply this credit to my charge card.
I will never book with trip.com again and will either use other third part sites or directly with the chains.
