Nottingham City Center
receptionist Daniel(male) was horrible. He almost denied me entry as I did not have a passport.I showed him my work ID with photo for which refused.I had stayed here twice before and the stay was good and the staff(females )were very polite. However guy was arrogant and discriminative. He said he wont bothe if i don't rebook the hotel in future.I came to rest after ork and this guy pissed me off and could not sleep well due to this horrific experience from the receptionist.I was very upset because of this guy. When I told him that i stayed there before twice for which he started blaming his colleagues and said they did not do their job properly. This guy needs serious professional ethics training to behave well with customers . He was indifferent in his poor attitude and said he wont bother if I rebook or not!

Nottingham City Center
I travel all over the country for football away days and stay in most towns for long trips or midweek games. I've been to Nottingham many times but never stayed here. Had no idea there was such a nice hotel literally on the station. It's one of the best independent hotels I've ever been to. Lovely staff, small hotel with only 12 rooms but all large, cosy and very clean. Slept really well even though I had an early train. Really nice bar lounge full of armchairs and vintage nik naks and decorations and drinks very well priced. Pleasantly surprised and will stay again if ever in Nottingham. Location is perfect.
Fairhaven Guest Accommodation
4/537 Reviews
We traveled to Nottingham for a family wedding and didn’t want to pay the exorbitant fees charged for a city centre hotel so opted for low cost option out of the city. The Fairhaven was everything we hoped it would be. We had four rooms booked for 6 guests and all our rooms were clean and smelled fresh and everything in the rooms worked. Breakfast was an extra option which we chose to opt for upon check in. The breakfast itself was well cooked and generous which included a vegetarian option. Not much to complain about, the Fairhaven may not be the Ritz but it a friendly and comfortable place to stay.
Richmond House Lodge
2.6/510 Reviews
Me and my partner booked Richmond B&B as we had tickets to a gig at Rock City. Graham is very welcoming and we had a wonderful stay. We started in the Derbyshire suite and yes it's small but is a B&B and to us we couldn't fault it. Bed was extremely comfortable and for me a big bonus, so we're the pillows. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and a fan both a nice touch. Fish tank in the bathroom was a nice surprise. The only issue with the room and this is not stunning Graham could help, at 6'4 my partner was a bit too tall for the cabin shower but it have me a good giggle, toiletries provide and body lotion also in the bathroom. Communal lounge and garden we didn't use but nice enough. Breakfast was very nice and Graham made sure everyone was enjoying it and had plenty. It's a shame Graham in leaving the world of B&Bs shortly as his place is a hidden gem a stone's their away from Nottingham and he is the reason it's a gem!
