Good hotel. Staff are ok. Could do with modernisation. Some rooms with no ensuite bathrooms are too expensive for what you get.

Stayed in room 26 last night ( 17th July ) and woke up this with bites / stings on my arms and legs. Made reception aware this morning so hopefully this will be addressed. Regularly stay in hotels through work and have done for the last 4 years this is by far the worst stay and experience I have had. Avoid this place if at all possible .

We have just spent two peaceful, comfortable nights here in a scrupulously clean, welcoming room with everything we needed from cosy robes to toothbrushes. The cooked breakfast was delicious and everything was delivered with calm friendliness by our host.

Really nice stay. Freshly cooked breakfast so much nicer than a buffet. Nice room period features, scrupulously clean and no skimping on amenities, mainly newly fitted out. Friendly family atmosphere which truly deserves to succeed in the area. Would definitely work for function too.

The whole room was very dusty and I couldn't breathe well. Just one night i spent there, came back sick. I think they have a nice building and could improve in their servuce.
I couldn't stand the dusty environment last night. I really struggle 😩

It wasn’t clear for me that the room I booked has a shared bathroom, I had to pay extra 60 pounds to upgrade to a double room with a bathroom

It was a last min one night booking ( when Grand Prix on so acc - hotels v expensive ) I wasn’t going just needed a room for the night .
The room as I knew when booked was a single basic one that hadn’t been yet done up like the rest of the hotel but the bedding was spotless and the towels white and fluffy so all good . Recp and breakfast Staff were excellent v friendly and helpful even cooking me some vege Sausages .
