This is a really good little park and a gem with flat sites, well sized and also protected. We found it was friendly and quiet as well as managed. There is enough space for everyone and you don’t get crowded out. I would recommend this to anyone as a base and wanting to explore the region from Tumby Bay, Coffin Bay NP, Cummins and Lincoln NP. We spent Easter here after 4 days in Coffin Bay … this gave us time to stock up due to the good number of services available in Port Lincoln. My only surprise was how quiet Port Lincoln was with most of the town closed for the 4 days over Easter … sort of a ghost town almost except for your 7 day traders like Coles Woolies Bunnings Liquorland etc … the locals weren’t interested in any tourism dollars eg no bakery was open in the town at all. The park is on the highway 10km from Port Lincoln and serviced by a garage and takeaway with good coffee available in the morning. The North Shields pub is an easy walk down the road.
