La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham North Platte

The hotel was clean and the staff friednly and helpful. The breakfast was a normal for mid-priced hotel, nothing extraordinary. However, I was unaware that the hotel welcomed pets and there was at least one dog barking at night.

It was late at night and I was in need of a room, rather than continuing to drive. I had no idea there was an event in town that took up most of the available lodging in the area. La Quinta was easy to access from I-80, provided me with points on my Wyndham Rewards program, and a very safe, clean, and comfortable option. I stayed in a king room on the 1st floor. There was a fair amount of hallway noise in the morning, as the room was along the way to the morning dining area. Through the night however, it was very quiet, the HVAC worked well for temperature regulation, and it was one of the more comfortable beds that I have been in for quite some time. The bathroom was clean with readily available DOVE hygiene products in the shower. There were some minor cosmetic issues with chipped paint, and some pink/red discolorations in the tub sealant. These did not affect my stay, but should probably be addressed. Overall, would definitely recommend, and will likely consider for future stay if my travels take me through the area.

Too bad the pool was down, wa ted the hot tub too. We specifically booked with laquinta because they were the only hotel with pool facilities. Sadly

Right on the highway, easy off and on to the interstate. Gas station right next door. Large parking lot. Very friendly desk person. Quick, easy check in and out. The room was large and clean. The room is well furnished with a desk, small refrigerator, and microwave. The tv works well. There was plenty of hot water and water pressure. It was a nice stay. Breakfast was good. The attendant was right there and taking care. Lots of room for doggy to fetch. I highly recommend it and I would stay here again.

Met our needs for an overnight stay. Good breakfast. Very friendly, helpful breakfast attendant. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed.

If you like pets or have pets, you will most likely like this hotel. If you are allergic to pets, you will smell pets every where. The hotel staff say they do their very, very best to clean each room after receiving guests with pets, but we all know how hard it is to clean smells even with heavy chemicals. The fact is that all the rooms can receive pets. Additionally, the hotel is pricey to the quality it offers. There are many areas that need repairs, and the furniture is a quite dingy. Neither my wife nor I wanted to shower as the floor of the bathtub was covered in rust colored smears.

Great staff. Love the pet friendly set up. Check in was easy. All the staff really seemed to enjoy working there. Breakfast was a friendly environment. Even the guest were interacting with each other. Will definitely be back again.

Property looks great, I understood they maybe under renovations. Check in is great friendly staff, great breakfast and nice grounds. Nice outdoor area and pool and a place for pets. However rooms are outdated and smell. The bed was comfortable and all the linens were in good condition and clean. It was just a place to lay your head for the night.
