Tru by Hilton North Platte

This clean property was a great stopover during a multi-state road trip. Friendly and efficient check-in personnel. Fun, hipster vibe/decor. Very clean, modern room. The NotSoap Radio soap and shampoo dispensers were great--no need to waste time unpacking all the travel stuff after a long drive. Quality mattress for solid sleep. Nice self-serve breakfast in the a.m. Would stay here again!

We were very impressed with this hotel. It was cheaper than the other hotels in the area and was so nice. Yummy free breakfast and lots of snacks and drinks available to buy for extra. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very kind and attentive. Would absolutely stay again if we ever are in the area.

Great priced hotel. Breakfast was awesome. Gym was awesome. I love the Peloton bike. There are plenty of entertainment: pool table, Jenga, board games. Great hotel if you are passing through. This is my second time this year coming to this property and the customer service is great.

we almost considered a motel type in the area but luckily we drove by it first and ended up here. This is an excellent hotel that is entirely too expensive for this area. We paid $201. Staff was ok but not friendly. Room was fantastic for us. We found it very clean, well designed and a very comfortable room. One restaurant within walking distance.

I was not happy with my experience . I registered online and was charged far more than the posted rate. The manager said that I registered through a 3rd party reservation system and I there was nothing he could do. I will not attempt to stay there again.

Simple hotel. No carpet in room. Just beds, tv and refrigerator. Microwave for use in lobby. Offered games and Pool table if you want to play pool. Have pancake machine for breakfast.

This was an absolutely miserable experience for us. They apparently are trying to draw millennials, but in the process they are forgetting about boomers. We travel in a camper van and were exploring the western states. When going through Nebraska, this location was convenient. What wasn't convenient was the small size of the room, nowhere to unpack clothing, no closet, very narrow small spaces, only under bed for luggage, etc. It did have a nice breakfast, and the blinds in the room were nice. Tru was a terrible experience that screamed, "We don't care about our older customer who actually want comfort." We will never stop at another one.

While there is nothing worse than having to drive through the state of Nebraska (the Huskers suck) to reach your targeted destination, stopping at this hotel for an overnight is the best part of the road trip. The lobby had so much for kids and adults to do to get the wiggles out after being trapped in a vehicle all day; pool table, games and a super well-equipped gym with kettlebells and a Peloton bike. Rooms were clean - small but fine, love that they don’t have carpets, and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was awesome, my kids loved the pancake maker and I loved the healthy options like hard boiled eggs and oatmeal. Coffee was HOT and STRONG and this place even has stevia. Amen. This hotel has amazing staff! My bus broke down in the middle of Halligan Rd and Pat and Kathleen (owners) saved me. It was about -23 and they let me sit in their car with them to warm up and stayed with me until the tow truck driver got there. They put me up into their hotel, gave me a great price and offered to take me to the shop when the bus got ready. The staff was amazing. When I checked out they let me sit in the lobby until either the bus was done or I needed to get another room. Thank you so much! A girl from Idaho
