Breakfasts were delicious and a good variety choices. Hosts very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the home grown honey. Sinai House is in a good location and is a great place to stay when visiting north Devon. We requested a room with views and were not disappointed - lovely views of the Bristol Channel and Wales."

"This was truly one of the most unforgettable birthday experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond anything I expected. The staff went out of their way to make the day feel extra special, and I was genuinely moved by their kindness. The room was stunning, the vibe was just right, and every facility added to the comfort of our stay. "When we arrived the hotel looked beautiful outside and inside. We had a comfort room booked room 112 Which cost £278 for 2 nights. When we got to our room it was very small more like a single room, There were three small drawers and a wardrobe to put your clothes in. The room had a window which looked out to a brick wall, it was very hot in the room even with the fan on. The room was very dark even with the lights on. The bathroom was like an obstacle course trying to get in the bath for a shower. We asked if they had another room but we were told they were fully up. They were not helpful at all. We went for a meal in the restaurant and the food was very nice, and the atmosphere was good. Unfortunately due to the room and price paid for the room we will not be booking this hotel again."

"Wonderful stay at Sinai House. Room 9 has a panoramic view with ensuite bathroom (shower over bath). Everything was clean and comfortable with kettle, hot drink options (loved the coffee bags), water, biscuits. If you have dietary requirements, let them know in advance and they'll do their best to cater for you. Hosts Alison and Vic very welcoming, friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you have a good stay. Breakfast was delicious with so many options available. Great lounge area and separate bar/coffee area, and there is lots of local information available to help you explore."

"it was terrible AND AWFUL i do not recommend staying here because they don't have any breakfast buffet and no restaurant and the staff are very unhelpful and lazy also the room quality is awful and i caught some spiders and cockroaches on the bed sheets."

"What a delightful, beautifully decorated, quirky place set right in the heart of the old part of town. Original features of the 2 century old house have been preserved and enhanced while all the modern conveniences are cleverly assimilated. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice including vegetarian/ vegan options and all tasted divine. Jo was especially kind in posting me back a scarf I had inadvertantly left in my room. Really above and beyond! My stay was so relaxed and relaxing , I wish I could have stayed longer. Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family."
