Fairfield Inn & Suites North Bay

This hotel is new, clean and the staff were wonderful (thanks Josh)! Comfortable bed!

A very clean and comfortable hotel in a good location. This was our first stay here. We were favourably impressed by the hotel and very much by the staff. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a great sleep. When we are in North Bay again we will stay here.

Terrible nights sleep in a room that sits right next to the highway. Just wanted a good nights sleep … Not what I was looking for. When I asked for a change of room for my second night, the front desk told me that once guests left I could have a “good” room. I didn’t realize there were “good” rooms and “bad” rooms.

We stay in North Bay at hotels all the time and thought we would stay at the Fairfield Inn this time. We were very disappointed with our stay. We booked a King Room via ******* 24hrs before our stay and when we got to the hotel the next day they didn’t have the room we booked and paid for. At the time of booking (24hrs before) there were numerous room choices online in different price categories available. We chose a more expensive room choice that of a normal King room with a seating area. What we got was a handicapped accessible room which we didn’t book, with no seating area and handicapped facilities. We were staying at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary and that is why we booked the king room with seating area etc.. The handicap/accessible room wasn’t what we booked /paid for and had in mind for our evening. Further, the hotel advertises a 7am free breakfast. We had to leave the hotel by 7:15 am so we arrived in the breakfast area at 7am. Unfortunately none of the actual warm breakfast items like eggs and bacon/sausage etc (we don’t know what was offered as it wasn’t out) was available until we had to leave. We left at 7:20! We would hope that if a 7am breakfast is advertised that it is actually available at 7am and not 15-30 min later. So between not receiving the room we specifically booked and paid for and not being able to have breakfast other than a dry English muffin and a strawberry we think our $233 room a night wasn’t worth it and won’t be staying here again unfortunately.

This hotel had everything we needed for the night. We were stopping during a long road trip across a good part of the country. Free parking, all the room amenities you need, very clean, comfortable beds, Netflix and cable for entertainment, as well as breakfast included with the stay. It was easy to access from the highway, but there really isn’t any amenities that you can easily walk to. We just ordered in and got an amazing rest. We didn’t hear any hallway noise and were completely undesturbed. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed just one night on our way to New England and had no complaints at all. The hotel is very clean, rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast had a lot of options, all the typical Marriott offerings. The location was great along the highway while still being quiet at night.

Review your bill! I found a room rate on line, confirmed the rate at check in, and my bill in the morning was 6$ more. I pointed this out to the front desk when I reviewed my folio the next day and was told it was too late to change it. It’s a shame because we liked the hotel.

If your going to North Bay, Ontario this is the hotel you want to stay at. Our room was out of this world (two undivided rooms - both had huge TV's. Staff were outstanding (any question we asked was answered in detail). Free breakfast was terrific (waffle, porridge, eggs, bacon,sausage, etc) Parking was good. Only issue I had was to get to the hotel you had to take a service road off a auxiliary road.
