Bed frames were dusty when the mattress slide a bit . But the rest was good

It was a late evening last minute booking and the displeasure of the late night arrival seemed to be apparent in the less than friendly Guest Services gal. She was close to being rude until she found out we were Hilton Honors members than her tune changed a little. As far as the accommodations they were fine. Tru is a Ultra modern very contemporary chain of Hilton. Room was comfortable and very clean and all we needed for a quick overnight stay. Nice Continental breakfast in the am. I was more than happy my favorite Silk milk was among breakfast choices. Convieant and close to everything this location. 124.00 for the night No raves for the staff though .

No ice buckets (they were out on both floors), sink drain stuck closed, no shampoo in my room, wall thermostat didn’t control anything, room wasn’t very clean, a/c was noisy. Honestly it should be branded “motel 6 by Hilton”. I’m not hard to please and this place was poorly run. Wouldn’t consider staying again for even half the price.

Do not stay here. The staff at the front desk is horrible. They can’t even do basic things like check you out or provide you a receipt and I’m scared to even check what they have charged me. They act like they don’t want to be there and they will lie about when you check out, etc. currently on active duty military orders trying to just get a receipt for my stay. Something so simple. I talked to the front desk clerk to check out and she said she couldn’t give me a receipt so she had to email it. Never received the email so I called after about an hour and the same lady I talked to says I didn’t check out. So I digress and said ok well I just talked to you but that’s beside the point. Please just email me my receipt. She said she did then hung up. Still no receipt. Do not stay here!

My family and I needed a short stay in Norfolk and I found this place. When we arrived, we were greeted nicely. I needed adjoining rooms, but the hotel was booked. The lady at the front desk accommodated me very nicely and I was happy. The breakfast was good and plentiful. There was access to water, tea and coffee at all times. And we were very close to the outlets. I recommend this place.
