10 Hastings Street Motel

room very small , shower a wet mess disaster , check in problematic , the place needs proper management

10 Hastings St Motel is a fantastic location and cheap. Room very small. Bathroom was so tiny and was in need of a a proper clean as grout was dirty. Cracked tiles in the shower. Pillows were terrible and the bed rolled on its castors. Blinds had mould on them and so did the room key. Fan was dusty and we weren't game to turn the a/c on. Vinyl floors were grubby and needed a proper clean. The photos are not an indication of how are room was and it is not a Boutique Motel. Cafe downstairs was great.

The location is excellent. Prebook parking so you can forget the car parking problems in Noosa. The motel is excellent value. However, there are downsides. Our room badly needed a deep clean. Superficially it was okay. The en-suite was very cramped to the point it was difficult to use. Storage space was lacking and a small table would have been welcome. The TV only worked intermittently and had to be turned on by a switch on the back of the set, not the remote. Most of the controls on the remote did not work either. The cafe was pretty good and again, good value. This was our second visit but it will be our last. A good budget solution though.

This is a motel so do not have high expectations. If you want to spend time in the room and are looking for a resort this is not the place but perfect for somewhere to sleep and the best location on Hastings street! Clean and friendly housekeeping staff. Only suggestion is to include a doona cover on the doona.

Very small room. Dated tv. Bathroom smaller than a phone box. Old matresses[ springs]. Location is brilliant. Extra charge for parking which is not disclosed at booking time. (A lot of hotels do this now, false advertising in my way of thinking). Cheap price compared to all others on the *****.

The staff at Piccolinis restaurant were amazing My husband got lost and all the staff helped in the search . In spite of the fact that the phone number on the sheet in the hotel envelope was wrong and the fact that it said room service was available when we rang the restaurant they said they couldn’t do room service as the credit machine did not work up there They agreed when we said we would pay cash and sent up the most wonderful breakfast. When we left they helped us with our bags and got breakfast ready for us . They were wonderful . The hotel was a different matter . We had left a message saying if they only had stairs please could we have a downstairs room We are in our mid eighties . No reply so I stupidly thought all was OK . When we got there we were confronted with steep wet steps up to the room No reception A young girl took pity on us and got the cases up the stairs . The room itself was poky One chair squashed next to the bed . Bed kept rolling away if you got near it No upstairs bar the impression given by their advertising is totally false. Balcony looks onto next door very close.

Excellent caring service, a great location. Shopping, the beach and plenty of ice cream shops/the Surf Club/national parks/beach equipment hire/restaurants etc all on your doorstep. It’s about a 15min drive to a big supermarket. Noosa is perfect for couples, solo, group, family or work trips. There’s a cinema a short Uber drive away. The rooms are not large but it had everything I needed and I liked the balcony.

This hotel is on Hastings St so it is a good location. However honestly for me that was it. A few days before staying I get an email saying parking is extra. The parking is ground level open carport. Then you have to walk up and old wooden set of steps to get to the room. It was honestly the smallest room I've ever staying in. It was clean and so OK for an overnighter. However tiny. Didn't even have a desk or anything I could put my laptop on. To be fair I had a couple of issues and they were very quick to respond. I did also get a look at anothe room that my friend was to stay in and it was a suite or something and it was much better than the room I had. So I'd be looking carefully at which room I book.

This little motel is in a very convenient location, a walk to everywhere in Hastings Street and Main Beach. The rooms are always clean and while small are fine for an overnight stay. Beds could be a little more comfortable and tea and coffee making is basic but the price reflects this. All in all a great place to stay.
