1. Booked a year ago, reconfirmed our desire to have a room on a specific side of the hotel when they phoned a week or so before our arrival, given a room on the totally opposite side of the hotel, forcing a move 2 days later to our preferred side. 2. Overcharged $2500, this was credited 3 days later. I was advised, but shouldn't happen. 3. Why bother check in on line, still stood at counter for 20 mins or more. 4. Room 1, mold in bathroom, dirty toilet, stained carpets and couch dust in kitchen area, Room 2 only marginally better. 5. Lifts filthy no attempt to clean for the 6 days we were there. 6. Caught cleaning staff doing glass cleaning - a rinse under cold water and turned upside down. They looked very sheepish and polished with tissues. I would have thought in a " 5 star hotel" clean glasses would be supplied daily. 7. Saturday night a wedding with a band that would have made ACDC sound tame. No warning this was to happen. We would have stayed at dinner longer. 8. In summary a tired hotel, propped up by good staff and the Noosa image, needs competition to make it get up to a standard. 9. Still haven't received an email on the breakdown of the charges we incurred 10. First time in many years we haven't booked to go back.
