Hotels Near 大湯沼遊步道2號 in Noboribetsu

Traditional Japanese ryokan. Charming in an old style. Food is great, from the aspects of ingredients selections to presentations. The location is good too, closed to shopping street, next to the hell valley.. so near that we smell sulphur all the time. We had 2 traditional kaiseki dinners which were adventurous and amazing. However, we were put off by shark fin soup in one of the appetizer dishes. It is sad. Onsen water was genuine from my opinion. It made my skin and hair so soft and straightaway! Magic! However, the public onsen room was quite old and looked slightly unclean. This could be improved I think. The room was tiny. The shower/bathroom was also tiny. According to the size, I think our stay is overpriced.

I have always wanted to stay in Kyo Takinoya ever since I visited Noboribetsu for the first time in 2015. That’s why we have decided to stay here during our honeymoon. We booked a Japanese style room with private onsen for our stay. We drove for around 2 hours from Niseko. Upon arriving the parking lot, we are greeted by the hotel staff. They guided us to a parking spot and helped us to carry our luggage to the room. Before we can set foot in the hotel lobby, we need to take off our shoes. Once we finished checkin. They took us to the hotel lounge where we were served some tea and Yokan before they took us to our room. Our room was spacious, clean and very traditional. Overall, it was quite well maintained considering the history of this hotel although we do see some wear and tear on the cabinet door. You can decide whether to set up the tatami in the living room or bed room area. A staff came in and set it all up while we were having dinner. Speaking of dinner, it was all served inside our room’s dining area at a selected time. We just need to sit in the dining room and wait for the dinner to come. A female staff politely asked to came in from the dinning area’s backdoor on time. The food was delicate and delicious. We are overall very satisfied and we especially enjoy the sashimi. The living room is only three steps away and we just rest there after dessert. After the table was cleared, they put a pot of iced cold water there for us. It was a great addition and thoughtful after the hot in-room onsen. There were 2 public onsen in the hotel. The onsen on 5/F is quite small but it had a nice mountain view. There were only 2 showers and I had to wait in line for shower when I visited it around 5-6pm. We visited the another Onsen in the morning before we checked out. It is located on B2/F. The onsen area is a lot larger and there are way more showers.

Every year, many children's shoes go to Japan for bathing, and there are countless hot spring options in Japan from south to north. The buffet is very rich. When you check in, you must reserve a meal for the next day. Time based on your next day trip ... ▲ ᕼOT ᔕᑭᖇ I ᑎᘜᔕ The hot spring here is divided into indoor and outdoor. It is recommended to go outdoors to run a wave. It is very comfortable. Although the pool is not large, it is really comfortable. The skin is smooth after soaking, and you can drink a glass of Japanese beer after soaking ... Drinks are free in the coffee area in the hotel. Those who can't drink beer can enjoy other drinks here. They also bought horse oil here. (I used the hotel bathhouse and found it very useful. I lived in Noboribetsu and this atrium, and I still prefer this one. If I go to Noboribetsu next time, I will stay there again. On the mountain Noboribetsu, pick-up service at 2:00 and 4:00 pm (pick-up at JR station) is available after booking with the hotel. The hotel is good, just don't like their public slippers (woven straw uppers). If you don't wear socks, you will feel a little sticky, but so is the flower atrium. The open-air style of the house is very good. It is relatively large. You can take a look at the snow on the pine trees while soaking in the hot spring. It feels very natural and much stronger than the open-air style of the flower atrium. I ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel, but it was really bad. This may be my own problem. I am not used to eating. The ice cream at the kiosk downstairs is delicious, you buy it every day, and it's easy to buy water. There is a small park in front of the hotel, the snow is very thick, you can play with snow, and there is no one. It is clean and very comfortable. A 15-minute walk from the hotel is the Noboribetsu ski resort. It is very convenient to play snow and there are very few people. In short, it is quite satisfactory.

Front desk attendant was very friendly and polite - please be aware that you may have to knock on the glass front door if you do not yet have your access PIN as it is often locked. Small lockers for luggage (backpack size) are available free of charge - you will either require a small padlock or purchase one for just 100yen in the machine next to the lockers. In accordance with its price, the room furnishings are of simple wooden construction but very spacious inside and have a nice natural scent of pine as you sleep 😌. Plenty of shared access amenities such as guest fridge, freezer, microwave, etc. Location is ideal as it is next to JR noboribetsu station, from which you can pay roughly ¥650 for a round trip (12 minutes each way) bus ticket to Hell valley (jigokudani). Incredible alternative to a stay in the large hotels up there for travellers on a budget, particularly as most hotels will sell access to their onsens to non-guests for around ¥2,000!

I stayed there a few years ago and have always wanted to stay there again someday. My parents came from another prefecture, so I was looking forward to spending time here with them. But it's the worst. Everything is the worst. From the time of the first check-in, the staff were not very friendly and their response was very clerical. Breakfast at 7am and 9am? I asked her which one would be better, and I was given the option of being too early or too late, and she said 8 o'clock is not a good time.Well, it's fine. That's what it feels like. Unpleasant at this point. Afterwards, we were shown around the guest rooms, first heading to my and my children's rooms. My parents were upstairs. At that time, even though my room was at the far end, my elderly parents were forced to walk to the end with me. When you get off the elevator, there will probably be some kind of response, such as telling you that your room is far away, so please wait here. Especially since I only use the Japanese-style room for sleeping and getting ready in the morning. My parents had a slightly larger room, but there was rotten water and rotten flowers in the vase. It's the worst. From the beginning to this point, it's been nothing but unpleasant. And the culmination is dinner. It's late anyway. Even though the next dish isn't coming, if there's a little left, I ask if I can take it and take it. I said I could serve the child's rice and miso soup first, but no matter how long I waited, the side dish never came. Elementary school children decided to eat only rice and miso soup. The air conditioning was centrally controlled and the room was hot and humid, so I asked if I could open the window, and they said yes. Then both sides are fully open so it gets cold. The tempura that came out had a little bit of salt on it, but if it wasn't enough, I was asked to add more. There was no salt at all. After getting tired of waiting, the beef stew was brought out, but even when it was placed in front of me, it was still not ready to eat and was still simmering on the stove. The caterer left without saying that. There are no plates to serve the stew. There was a plate and astragalus in a corner with dust hanging down, and the astragalus was bald and dirty, so I wondered if I was going to eat it. and disgust. And is the finished stew a soup curry? ? ********** soup. I eat Shiraoi beef every year, but this was the first time I had eaten meat that chewed so much that nothing came out, and that there was no fat at all. It was explained that it was simmered for 6 hours, but I think it was frozen. In the end, the dining staff probably felt uncomfortable with our outburst of dissatisfaction, but instead of greeting us, they glared at us from behind. Of course, there were other staff members who treated us in a pleasant manner, but for us, they were really the worst, mainly the ones who helped us with our rooms and served dinner. I think this is important. Are you choosing your customers? I've been to many hot spring inns all over the country, but this was the first time I felt so uncomfortable and had to actually express my discomfort to someone. I made my father's last trip during his illness the worst, and the only thing I can do is blame myself for choosing this inn. I never want to come to a place like this again.
