La Chapelle Saint Martin has a friendly homely and personable feel. We stayed 3-nights in a spacious ground floor Deluxe Suite with a very comfortable King Bed and stunning views of the ground’s lawns and lake. Our main reason for selecting La Chapelle Saint Martin was to visit Oradour-sur-Glane where in WW2 the Nazis massacred the entire village of 642 men, women, and children before burning the village to the ground. After the war, the then-General Charles de Gaulle decreed that the ruined village would remain untouched as a reminder of Nazi brutality. Very moving. We also visited Adrien Dubouché National Museum which has the largest public collection of Limoges porcelain in the world. Amazing, and relieved us of quite a deal of cash at their shop for gifts for family and friends. Breakfast and Dinner were absolutely first class and the Soufflé was scrumptious! Staff that pampered us included – Annalee, Maison, Paul (Sommelier) – thanks for the tour of the cellar

Excellent
Absolutely impeccable, in every way. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was like sleeping on clouds.
Service was 5 star: tour of hotel, treats in room, turndown service with lavender mist, were just some of the highlights.
Restaurant experience both at dinner and breakfast surpassed expectations. The pigeon was to die for.
We would whole-heartedly recommend. Not cheap but worth every cent.
We will try to return one day.

Une étape sympathique avec une prestation assez moyenne dans un lieu qui manque d'authenticité. Décoration assez brouillonne qui mériterait un regard plus professionnel que celui des propriétaires. Table convenable.

Nous sommes malheureusement arrivé dans cet établissement sous une pluie battante et repartie sous le même temps, ce qui ne nous a pas permis de profiter du beau jardin. l'endroit est calme et reposant et le personnel très à votre écoute pour vous rendre votre séjour agréable.
