This is a top-flight winery with multiple guest options. We had the Bastei, which is the entire top floor of the guesthouse, split into large bedroom, hallway and large sitting room with a pull-out sofa and balcony with vineyard and Nahe views. Spectacular. We arrived on Monday when the winery was closed and obtained the key, details on the stay options, wines, restaurant options, etc., via a safe. The room was comfortable, quiet, amazing views from the windows and balcony, and with two bathrooms. There are steep “attic” stairs from the 1st floor to the room. The wines range from straight forward Riesling to GG Riesling and Riesling is the focus. There is a common room with a wine fridge and honor list – write your name and which bottle you picked. Tastings at the winery can be arranged with Sasha. The email response to us for restaurants, recommendations etc., was quick and comprehensive. The vinotek is huge. Breakfast is typical German with meat, bread, fruit, eggs as an option and coffee/tea. This is what a winery stay experience should be. Exceeds all expectations.

Ein wahrer Gunstplatz.Hier wird jede Krise,jede schlechte Laune zunichte gemacht.Hier baumelt sie,die berühmte Seele,zur Ruhe gekommen entschleunigt,in wunderbar trockenem Riesling eingebettet . Hoch über der Nahe muss die Freiheit wohl grenzenlos sein,die Hügel sanft,die Luft so lau,trockene Sekte,nette Beratung.Wir bleiben bis der Abend kommt.
