Hotels Near Nice Ville Station in Nice

This is a budget hotel so obviously reviewed as such! Great location to Main Street through Nice and train station. Very clean and beds changed daily and fresh towels every day. We chose not to have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Staff friendly. Room was quite spacious for 4 of us. Looked freshly painted. Modern shower room. Toilet had no sink so had to go into shower room to wash hands (main annoying thing) and not enough mirrors if a few drying hair. However, it’s a budget hotel and that’s what we wanted so all in all, it was absolutely fine for what we paid.

Ca a commencé à la réservation lorsque, au téléphone, la patronne indique avec arrogance qu'elle nous fait une faveur de nous louer la chambre pour une nuit... Et une autre faveur pour accepter le chien (bichon nain de 2 kgs, moyennant 20 euros supplémentaires), sauf que la saleté de l'hôtel et de la chambre devrait l'inciter à être sélective plutôt avec ses clients ”ordinaires”. Dès l'arrivée, on s'aperçoit qu'il vaut mieux avoir une citadine pour entrer et se garer dans le tout petit parking, avec un premier contact avec la patronne, qui ne nous dit pas bonjour et nous enjoint de nous coller aux autres voitures... L'arrivée dans la chambre apporte ses premières surprises avec une porte et des fenêtres vétustes difficiles à ouvrir et impossibles à fermer complètement (pratique la nuit), un petit et très étroit balcon sale avec de vieilles chaises sales en plastique, une salle de bain tout en longueur d'environ 80 cm de large, une chasse d'eau défectueuse qu'il a fallu remettre en route nous-mêmes, deux sachets de savon liquide par personne à peine suffisants pour se laver les mains, pas de support dans la douche pour ces sachets, un support très vétuste et cassé, donc inutile pour le pommeau de douche. Ah oui, on avait une chambre vue ”jardin” 😂: en guise de vue jardin, on voyait le parking et un immeuble qui, lui, avait une vue plongeante sur les chambres ! Mais le pire, c'est la nuit: impossible de dormir sur les 3 petits lits très vieux de 80x190 (on était 3) avec un petit et vieux matelas de 10 cm d'épaisseur, des oreillers assez vieux pour donner mal à la tête à des invertébrés, sur des sommiers en très mauvais état : le moindre mouvement déclenche un grincement tel qu'il réveille tout le monde ! J'ai dû mettre le matelas sur la vieille moquette visiblement poussiéreuse car j'ai toussé toute la journée : pour rien car les deux autres lits ont grincé toute la nuit (pas la place pour les mettre par terre), nous empêchant de dormir tous les trois! Bref, un véritable cauchemar payé pourtant plus de 180 euros! (Sans petit-déjeuner). Même gratuitement nous n'y retournerions pas. Vendu comme un ancien ”hôtel particulier”, c'est surtout un hôtel à fuir. Lamentable.

Hotel -Layout was not welcoming/ inviting as the front doors leads to a hallway & the reception desk is up 3steps before you are greeted by someone. This makes carrying luggage difficult. - Storing luggage until the room was ready was fine. - Lift was small and can fit max 3people without luggage and was sometimes slow to come. - Would not rate as a 4 star hotel. Location - Approx. 15min walk from the promenade, which meant we were away from the noise. - 2mins away from the train station, which is ideal is travelling by train. - Area was OK, but not the best. Drinks - The complimentary drinks were tap water, lemonade (made from tap water), tea and coffee. If you dont drink tap water, there is no free alternative provided, with the reason given they are reducing use of plastic (bottled, glass water is avaiable to purchase). Room -We stayed in a classic room (208) which was compact. -They are definitely not soundproof & is dependent on the guests, as we could hear their conversations and when they were using the shower. -All the hotel doors make a loud bang when closed. -The room layout and space could have been utilised more effectively. E.g. 1/3 of the wardrobes were dumpy drawers. We had a chair but it was placed infront of the only long mirror in the room. -The charging ports were only accessible from one side of the bed, which can be challenging & annoying at times. - The room view was of the street and of the opposite building, which was not the nicest. Breakfast -We would advise you to think twice before booking breakfast. -Breakfast selection is very small - neatly presented in the corner of the room. -Minimal vegetarian and vegan optipns - which is not worth the money they ask - with the reason given France is not accomodating to vegetarian food. One gluten free option. -Fresh orange juice and breads were delicious. -There were 2 choices of fresh fruit (apple & kiwi) neither of which looked appealing. -No salad options. -Staff did not clear the tables as you were eating. -If all the guests were to be in the room at the same time, it would be very cramped, noisy and cause queuing. Staff -Half were friendly, polite and welcoming. The other half were not and would not acknowledge you upon entering or leaving the hotel. -When we were checking out, we were not offered support with our luggage down the steps, instead a hotel guest offered to help us! Also, the staff member did not finish with out checking out and had already started serving the guest behind us. -When making enqueries, staff were helpful and tried their best, with clear instructions. -An item was requested, which was not available. We were reassured this item would be sent to our room the next morning, but alas this did not happen.

本來定了一個豪華大床房 結果拿到的房間除了沙發外和圖片上可以説完全沒關係！和酒店交涉堅持説就是這個房型 因為有沙發…我是看中這個房型是個轉角房 而不是沙發 酒店給的房間就是標間里加了沙發而已 顯得房間更小 另一邊過道根本很難走過去 可參考我圖片 而圖片裏的落地玻璃窗也是沒有的…後來攜程也一起進行交涉換了另一間沒有沙發但是有城市景觀房. 酒店還是有一點裝修味道的 特別是走廊，房間設計很現代但質量很拉垮 我房間門框都是壞的 洗臉盆的熱水衹有早上才有熱水 其他時間段永遠開不熱 唯一優點是就在火車站隔壁去其他小鎮非常方便

The rooms are very correct , close to the station or even to the store to make a few sticks

Location wise - close to everything, don’t be out off on route to it. Super close to the train station and a short walk to the beach and streets with lots of shopping variety. Hotel decor is dated in places and the room felt semi finished decorating. Breakfast was nice plenty of choice for pastry, yogurts etc. It says soundproofing and this is where it’s wrong! You can literally here everything from the rooms. No control on noise one night I spent 4 hours from 01:30 to 05:30 wide awake listening to the room next door laugh, cry, sing and endured them smoking. The noise and unfinished touches in the room let it down. Otherwise nice location!

Don’t stay at this hotel if you want to get some rest. There is a restaurant downstairs so people will be coming after midnight and talking loudly. You will be hearing cars throughout the night. In terms of cleanliness it was ok. The room was a bit small. Not the worst place to stay for the price. Just a bit loud.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 3notti, in coppia ad agosto 2022. La struttura è in una posizione strategica: a 100m da rue de medicine, la strada principale piena di negozi, che percorsa interamente (circa 700m) porta sul lungomare, alla promenade des angles. Abbiamo facilmente trovato parcheggio per strada nei dintorni: se durante il giorno si usa la macchina per visitare i dintorni, non è necessario mettere la macchina in un parcheggio privato in quanto dopo le 20 il parcheggio per strada è gratuito. L addetto alla reception del mattino è stato molto professionale e gentile, ci ha prestato l ombrello per 2giorni in quanto pioveva. La struttura è moderna e in stile minimal: la stanza è dotata di cassaforte, frigorifero (vuoto), le prese sono compatibili con quelle italiane. La nostra stanza al primo piano era luminosa e affacciava sul ristorante accanto all' albergo.Lo spazio davanti al letto era un po' stretto, ma tutto sommato la quadratura della camera è accettabile. Bagno moderno e bella doccia, tuttavia non ci sono state fornite cuffie per la doccia.

Welcoming staff when we arrived, shown to our room to have a really nice room. We noticed shortly after that we could hear conversations happening next door to us and the smallest of noise we’d be able to hear! The walls are really thin and we were kept up a couple of times trying to get to sleep! We noticed a dripping sort of noise when someone tried using the shower which got on our nerves a bit. In the morning we got woken up to a blender as we were opposite the breakfast room the gap under the door didn’t really help that! Such a shame to lower the rating due to the noisy room as it is in a ideal location for walking over the city and easy to get to from the airport.

We arrived via taxi after a flight down from Paris. The hotel was fully booked between Cannes film festival and People going to see the Monica Grand Prix. Our room was not ready, but we were told we could go to the rooftop for lunch. We did that and proceeded to be ignored by the rooftop staff. We finally corralled someone who said they stopped serving food at 2:30, so we left the hotel to find something else. Later when our room was ready we told the front desk about it and it was news to them. Then when we decided to go back for dinner on the roof, we were told that dinner did not start until 7:00, so they called up and made us reservations. When we arrived at 7:00 the place was packed and the only tables had no view. We asked and were told that people come for drinks starting at 6:00 and just keep their tables when dinner starts. Not ideal. These are very tiny, tight rooms. Typical Europe size. They were quiet rooms. Our air conditioning didn’t work in the room. They offered a fan which helped, but as it got hotter we asked a second time to change rooms and they complied. They did reduce our room rate and comped a meal for us. The staff was very nice and apologetic for the AC issues.
