Much better than hotels near the waterfall, and cheaper. It only takes half an hour to get there. This hotel is very good. Have a different experience. Buy bread at the bakery nearby, and the hotel can help heat it. The spa must be booked four weeks in advance, otherwise the service will not be mentioned. It is suggested that Ctrip can remind guests to provide these services to avoid wasting such a good hotel project. Facilities: good Health: good Good environment good service

Everything was excellent. Clean, friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced. Underground parking was a huge plus.

I feel like they did not have enough staff at the reception; otherwise, everything was great.

The location is excellent. The main road is right at the door. Restaurant, bakery, ice cream shop, gift box...the room is small and very quiet. The front desk staff is very kind. The hotel provides free parking spaces on the ground and underground. There are no available seats at 8pm. The hotel restaurant requires a reservation!

The room that I was assigned does not appear on the their website. While it was huge, clean and the bed was comfortable, I felt like I was in a dungeon. Only the the top 1/3 of the one window had light exposure. I could see the treetop and the sky. The bottom 2/3 was frosted so dark that no light could shine through. The window did overlook the street so I thought maybe it was for privacy. When I opened the window I was met with the HVAC unit and a pond of water. Therefore, opening the window was not an option. My room was also directly above an event space. I did notice that there was an event taking place at 4pm but people were eating dinner so I assumed that it would be over in a few hours. At 9:30pm the music was so loud that the bed was shaking. The hotel asked that guests text them if they needed anything. I texted my concern as to when this event would be over and got no response. I tried to call and no answer. I finally walked about a half a block over to the reception area. When I asked about the situation I asked if anyone had called me prior to my arrival. Nobody had called me. They were very nonchalant about the situation. Someone would text me with the ending time of the event. About 20 minutes later I was told that the event would be over at 10pm. At 10:15pm the music stopped but then the furniture moving began. For another hour all I could hear was the staff breaking down the event. The next morning I went to reception and found that everyone in the Gate House was in there complaining. Their solution was to refund our resort fee and make a note to give me an upgrade the next time I stayed with them. I felt like I was over a barrel with no options. I asked several times why they would even book that room if they had an event. They never gave me a response. Something about, because I booked with *******, they did not know about my reservation until just a few days before. I booked the reservation through their website 3 months prior. It just seemed like they really did not care that any of us were unhappy and they had no solution. I felt like I had been taken advantage of. I will never go back to this place. I have been traveling for years and have never been treated so poorly. There is no section on their website to leave a review. I wonder why.

This property looks like it's been freshly renovated. The decor is luxurious and modern. We stayed in a room with 2 queens and we couldn’t believe how spacious it was. Will definitely be returning in future. If you and your girlfriends are looking for a weekend getaway in ontarios wine region, this is definitely the place to stay.

Our team had an amazing work retreat at 124 on Queen in September. I worked with the Director of Sales, Amanda, to plan our event. Amanda was attentive throughout the planning process and delivered the "wow" factor we were looking for. As an event planner, it was extremely comforting working with Amanda; she ensured no detail was missed. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our accommodations and the Gallop meeting space were ideal for our small group. We enjoyed an exceptional farm-to-table lunch at Treadwell. From the staff, accommodations, spa, dining, and amenities, this place is a gem. To end our retreat, we had the pleasure of visiting the 124 Spa. The sensory experience of the Hydrotherapy Circuit, including the unique snow room, melted away our stress. Each team member also enjoyed an individual spa treatment which was divine. The 124 Spa offers a world-class spa experience for relaxation. 124 on Queen is a beautiful boutique hotel that offers luxurious excellence in a prime location for both business and pleasure. If you want to make lasting memories, this is the place to be! We cannot wait to return!

Studio suite (room 700) was ok but dated and not all that clean - feathers coming out of the sofa pulled, cracked bathroom sink, cobwebs, dust on the floor, dirty bathroom floor and poorly working toilet. We also didn't like the soft mattress with a dip in the middle and the soft lumpy pillows. Nice to have a kitchenette and a big shower (although with a tiny shower head). Tea and coffee in the room were nice. Front desk service was great. We've stayed at the hotel a number of times and this time we felt it was not worth the money we paid (it's not inexpensive). Disappointing visit. We mentioned our concerns to Larissa at the Front Desk and she was very concerned. She apologized and offered us a bottle of sparking wine, removed the resort fees and offered us an upgrade if we were to return. We visit every year for the Shaw Festival so we will see if we decide to return or not.

Amanda and her team at the hotel took care of every detail to ensure our client's 2 day stay was smooth from start to finish. It was a group of 9 executives and everyone LOVED the hotel renovations, the delicious food and wine tasting topped off with a horse and carriage tour of picturesque Niagara on the Lake. Their luxurious spa onsite was the icing on the cake. I'm looking forward to bringing another group of client's to 124Q as soon as possible! You wont be disappointed.
