I’ll start off by saying we should have avoided this place when they charged us two times for a one night stay and the man was unable to explain why other than that the charge will be released upon check out however, they never told us a double charge over the phone was needed. When I got there they had me swip my card as well. We explained on the phone that we had 2 registered ESA dogs(ADA). But upon check in, the guy kept saying “we charge $30 per dog” I’m like no, you can’t charge for a ESA. THEN, we get in our room, and it smells of nothing but pure cigarettes. Mind you we have our 8 month old daughter with us. We turn back the cover and on our sheets we find a HUGE spot of dried urine, and blood. We lifted the mattress cover to find it on the actual mattress too. My wife goes to show the man up front the photos of the sheets and bed. That wasn’t good enough, he had to come see it for himself, along with another man that was nowhere in sight when we checked in. They both had the audacity to stand there and argue with us about how it’s fine, and how the sheet looks fine, and is covering the mattress protector and mattress. Literally raised his voice and acted as if we were over reacting and then let it slip that they only wash the sheets and blankets and do not wash the protector. When we called him out on what he had just said he tried to cover it up. Would they let their family sleep on urine and blood covered sheets? You can’t rent a room out for $125 a night with blood and urine covered sheets. Period. That should have been thrown away a long time ago. Waiting for our refund, x2 since they wanted to charge us twice! Health department and BBB really should be called. You can’t rent rooms out like this. The owner commented back on my post and said I had the wrong motel however I have my emailed receipts which I will upload as well.
