典型的英式旅館,下面是酒吧餐廳,樓上是房間。後面有一個大大的草坪,房間還不錯,早餐很好。

Visited whilst using the K&ES Railway it being a short walk from Northiam station. Friendly staff with a great selection of local beers as well as the usual named brands. Garden lovely with various outside booths, so good for all weathers. Will go again when in the area.

This pub had a really good feeling as we walked in. We knew we would like it straight away. Traditional, welcoming and comfortable. You must log in your car registration at the bar on arrival. Our room was cosy (small), bigger rooms are on the front - but ours had everything we needed, and to be honest you only need the room to get your head down. Fresh towels every day, toiletries, tea making, and even an air con unit as it was still warm. We chose seafood salad & mac/cheese with peppers the first night. Both very tasty. The next night was the steak night offer - 2 x 10oz steaks of your choice (choose from steaks on display in the fridge) & a bottle of wine for £50. Absolutely lush. Breakfast was served in a separate dining room by the friendly landlord. Eggs any way you want them, fruit juices, yoghurts, cereal, & eggs Benedict. Nothing too much trouble. Ideally situated for lots of NT properties, Lympne Animal Park, Folkstone, Sissinghurst Gardens, Bodiam Castle, Battle of Hastings etc.

We booked the White Hart as it was recommended by Wine Tours of Kent. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were quirky and very clean. Food was excellent especially the steaks. If we were ever in the area we would definitely return. Thank you to your team

We had an excellent Sunday lunch of belly of pork. Large portions and friendly staff. Be careful leaving their car park as visibilty is difficult and traffic tends to speed through the village.

We had a lovely Mother's day meal. The food was great, the roasts was delicious. My toddler had the battered cod and wmit was lovely piece of fish! The roast felt sohomemade, and the gravy was so rich! Lovely Eton mess pudding. Staff were attentive. I'm not keen on a service charge anywhere I go. I like to give a tip if I feel they have been great, not have it demanded on the bill. But ... I didn't mind here as they couldn't have been better.

A difficult place to review, as its a bit like the curates egg (good in parts), which is probably a little unfair as it was actually good in many areas. On arrival, from outside the premises looked a little unkept, but the interior belied the first impressions, being nicely decorated and laid out, with a roaring woodfire adding to the ambience. The bedroom was quirky with sloping floors (not a criticism, just an observation) although the decor needed tidying up in the window bay. The bed was comfy and the bathroom nicely appointed with lashings of hot water. The service was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful, as was the landlord. The evening meals were well cooked and tasty and reasonably priced and the beer was good. Its a good location for a number of National Trust properties (Batemans, Scotney Castle, Smallhythe and others, as well as the heritage railway at Tenterden. NB if you want the room made over, please put the hanger outside the door or advise the staff

Another great stay. Cards on the taable I am biased. We have been coming to stay at the White hart for several years now. If it wasn't any good we would not keep coming back. A traditional 17th (?) century inn with a huge roaring firepllace. Great quality well kept ales. (The brewery from the local brewery drinks his own brew here so he must know something!) From the moment you walk in the door there is a warm welcome from a team that all seem happy to be there. The food we had was amazing and the sunday roast one of the best we've ever had. We are counting the days until we can come down and stay again. As you may see from our other reviews of the White Hart don't expect a generic hotel experience but if you want a quirky tradional British Inn full of great things and great people this is the place.

Attended with a group of friends for a drink and a bite to eat. We got our drinks and sat down to study the bar menu. I chose the ham, egg and chips at £12.99 and went to the bar to order. The staff member punched my order into the till, and said “that will be £14.28 please”. When I queried the price difference, I was told that this due to the 10% service charge. I asked why this was being charged this amount and was told “it was standard in the hospitality industry now”. It isn’t. Was also told the service charge was mentioned on the menu. It wasn’t. I don’t mind tipping or paying a service charge if someone has waited on our table and genuinely delivered good service, but to be forced to pay it for someone to walk a plate from the kitchen to table is a bit much.
