Fabulous place! For the price point I was concerned this would be disappointing but it was the complete opposite and I'd happily recommend it to anyone. Absolutely perfect for our purposes, close to Newbury for dinner and exploring, and a great place to go back to at night (the £15 cost of a cab was well within our budget).
Breakfast was very tasty and organised with a well stocked selection and nice atmosphere. We used the pool and sauna in the morning after checkout which was clean and very welcoming.
My ONLY gripe was that check-in was a little rushed and felt a little like a conveyor belt, we had been stuck in traffic and a warmer welcome would have been appreciated.
Overall though, a great experience. Well done to the whole team!

This is a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, large bedrooms with modern decor. You will sleep well here as it’s very quiet. The pool is fantastic and the changing rooms are very clean. Staff are very helpful and informative. Given 4 out of 5 though as the restaurant was closed when I was there. The staff helpfully pointed out that there were nearby places to eat at but after a long day at work and a lot of driving I wouldn’t have wanted to head out again. That’s was the only downside to my stay - otherwise I would recommend.

I decided to book here for our visit to highclere Castle. I'm so I glad I did. It was only a 20-minute drive. The hotel & rooms, spa were lovely and clean. The bed was really comfortable. They have gluten-free options in the resteraunt as well. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Especially the bar man called James. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

At this price point the best hotel we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in Graciously efficient staff; spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained; spacious; huge room with separate sitting room super quiet and great black-ou, yet really well lit - unlike the majority of gloomy rooms where you have to sit in the bar to read. Many lovely soft seating areas and lounges downstairs if you do want to socialise. Great leisure facilities; excellent dinner very well priced with generous portions and a very good self service breakfast A real gem with a lovely calm ambience There was a wedding downstairs but in a quite distinct part of the hotel so unless you accidentally stumbled on it coming back from the gym you would never known. Highly recommend and suggest best to contact hotel direct for best price on dinner bed and breakfast

This is a lovely hotel for an overnight stay. Friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again on our way to Southampton. The room was very clean and had everything that we required. The only complaint is that the carpark is very dark at night time, because some of the lights are missing.

Stayed for one night. Due to the fact I left booking to the last minute I had to book one of their large double rooms.. it was HUGE, with comfy chairs and a sofa. Comfy bed and a quiet room. All clean and very nice. Chose this hotel as it has a pool, which I used both before dinner and before breakfast. Also enjoyed the sauna. My breakfast and dinner (2 courses) were included,. Breakfast was good (cooked available), although it would have been nice to have some fresh fruit available (as Premier Inn does). Dinner had enough choices, and although nothing particular spectacular it was filling and pretty good. Service also good and staff all very friendly.
