Minimalist breakfast. Because I had to leave for Chicago for two days in the middle of the road, I was able to leave my luggage here after I had a feeling of trying and talking with the front desk. I agreed very quickly. So I decided to live here after I returned to New York from Chicago.

Room was very small - smallest I've been in in a hotel, so for a one night stay, it was fine although there was a closet to store a suitcase in if I needed to. Bathroom was super small as well. Due to the size of the room, the foot of the bed was literally inches away from the bathroom. Additionally, the room came with a mini fridge but no microwave. There was a small couch with a pull out table to eat on facing the TV which was on the wall. Overall the room was clean and comfortable with decent lighting. Breakfast offerings is mainly for a typical diet, special diet offerings are very minimal.

Perhaps it is in the center of the universe that every inch of land is very expensive. The hotel lobby is very small, and the room configuration is similar to that of a domestic Samsung hotel, but it is very clean and very new. The location is next to the Empire State Building in the central district, and it is very convenient to go everywhere.

The majority of guests were satisfied with the hotel's facilities and services. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and all facilities are very clean. Guests can use the laundry room and there is also a fitness center. Slightly late check-out is also possible. However, the space for breakfast is somewhat small, and there are so many guests that it is difficult to have a quick and comfortable meal. They run out of food often and it takes a while to refill. It would be great if just this point was improved. Although the hotel appears to be very close to Manhattan on the map, please note that it may take longer than expected if you use public transportation.

I stayed at this new property in August 2024 for one night with no service issues, and returned September 2024 for one night. I hadn't read the reviews here but after my second stay I can understand the negative feedback and what is a but shocking to me is the hotel is making no effort to respond to any of the feedback positive or negative. On my second stay I had done my regular mobile check in as a Titanium member. When I arrived shortly before 6pm and handed the FDA my ID, he could not find my reservation. After quietly staring at his screen for about 3-4 minutes, he finally asked me if I had my confirmation number. I provided it and also told him the room # I had been assigned as the Marriott app showed that. No acknowledgement of status, no apology for his inability to locate my reservation, nothing. I didn't really care too much but i was annoyed. They are also supposed to offer a choice like they did on my first stay of 500 points or a credit for the little market, but they didn't. What was worse though was not be able to use the hotel wifi - when I would put my Name and Room # it says ”does not match our records” - I reported this to Front Desk staff and was told the ”Chief Engineer” would work on it because enhanced wifi was down. They never contacted me back or left me any messages but it was never fixed. I honestly don't think they tried to do anything other than lie to me and hope I wouldn't follow up. Rooms are extremely tight but that's not my concern here. No water is true as well, as is the leaky shower and extremely small bathroom even by NYC standards. This would be a wonderful property but clearly it's subpar to Marriott's brand standard for even a SHS. Management was completely cold and not helpful, including night manager Alicia. I do not recommend this property to anyone and hope the hotel owners eventually realize the issues.

The room is quite large in New York at the same price. Generally speaking, it is very clean, only some long-term water stains on the bathroom table. The breakfast is quite satisfactory. The location is close to Union Square, and the night is quieter than the Chelsea area where I lived before. There is Good Morning Paris Bakery and a light food shop on the street next to it. Overall, more than expected, recommended!
