This hotel was in a great location for things like exploring the Chelsea neighbourhood and visiting the Moma art gallery! I really liked the vibe as there was a terrace outside that always had people sitting chatting, dining and having a low key good time. There were also lots of nice restaurants in the area! The room was lovely too!

With breakfast, the location is also very convenient, the room design is very reasonable, microwave oven, refrigerator, and tableware are all available. The facilities are relatively new, but the elevator is difficult to wait a little bit.

The hotel is in a good location and is quite lively. There is a subway nearby when you go out. You can go to any place in Downtown or Uptown, but the general surrounding environment is average and there are tramps. The hotel room is a bit small. Although it is a 4-star hotel, it is incomparable to domestic ones. If there is more luggage, there is basically no aisle to go.

The hotel itself is dated- but the WONDERFUL staff made it worthwhile. Upon check in our room wasn't ready- but Yasayra made sure we were comfortable waiting. Tyla and Ayana behind the reception desk were amazing- as busy as it was, they always smiled. Breakfast buffet selection was great. Room is freezing so bring a sweater. Tub of bottled water in ice off lobby elevator was a nice touch. Decent snacks for sale in the lobby. Rooms need revamping- outlets in room are scarce and flimsy. Coffee maker is room. Some of our towels were old (could see thru them) but housekeeping exchanged with a smile. Rust around bathroom drain. The room is the size of a cruise ship room- but laid out well and every inch is used. 2 small drawers under the safe- and that's it. No a/c walking down hallway to our room. 1 elevator broke for a few hours while we were there but fixed same day. Rooftop made this hotel special!! We were able to watch the fireworks from the top floor with a great view. Tables and chairs are a nice touch. Staff had a BBQ on the holiday, and brought up extra comfy chairs for the fireworks viewing. It's the staff that makes this hotel special- they were all amazing and asking what they could do to help make our stay pleasant.

The hotel itself is very quaint. The people who work here and run the hotel are very very nice and very sweet. I do recommend this hotel if you’re going to be in New York and just for a night or something it’s really good to have just a quick stay here they’re close to the cruise port and of course Fifth Avenue.

Clean, modern and comfortable no-frills hotel. Great Chelsea location with convenient access to Penn Station, subway (#1 train) at corner, and walking distance to so much. Reasonable rate for a room with a panoramic city view. Friendly staff. Perfect for a short stay. Even got daily maid service on a 2 night stay.

Location is amazing and close to the metro. We could walk to the Vessel, High Line, Empire State Building, Flatiron, Times Square etc in 20-30mins. Room was fine. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was good although a bit cramped at times and could benefit from being in a larger room. AC was very good and much needed as temperatures soared when we were there. We were in Room 505 on fifth floor with a view over McDonald from our front windows which was really disappointing as I’d asked for a higher floor prior to arrival and when checking in. Great views of the city and Empire State Building from the rooftop terrace. All the staff we met were very friendly.

The room is small but the facilities are very new. I overslept because of jet lag during breakfast. The chelesa community is very good. It is considered cost-effective in Manhattan. The room can see the Empire State Building.

This hotel was an incredible find and it such a perfect location which made it easy to get around the city by both subway and walking. I booked a room with a view of the Empire State and it was stunning - totally worth it! The hotel facilities were great and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel!

It is a very functional hotel on 7th avenue, well connected by subway to all points. The hotel has a good breakfast and the rooms, although not very big, are very clean and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The reception staff are very friendly. The only thing to improve would be the management of the elevators. It has 4 but there are times, especially in the morning, when you wait for a long time or if you are going down, you stop at each of the floors.
