Wir (zwei Paare) haben schon einige Wellnesshotels besucht. Der Birkenhof erfüllt in allen Kategorien jeden Wunsch. Oft waren uns die Becken zu kalt, das passiert hier mit dem 40 grad heißem Außenbecken bestimmt nicht. Dann war es oft überlaufen, auch das war hier absolut nicht der Fall. Die Zimmer, wir hatten jeder eine Waldsuite, waren wunderschön eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Das ganze Personal war durchweg höflich und wusste bereits nach dem ersten Abend was man gerne trinkt und waren immer gut gelaunt. Das Essen ist ein Traum, beim Frühstück ist garantiert für jeden was dabei und das 5-Gang-Menü am Abend macht jeden satt und war ausgezeichnet. Der Wellnessbereich hat genug Abwechslung und einen tollen Ausblick auf den Ausee. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.

Wir haben eine Nacht im Birkenhof verbracht und hatten eine schöne und erholsame Zeit. Dennoch haben uns einige Dinge enttäuscht. Zum Beispiel, dass der Wellness-Bereich bei Anreise erst ab 15 Uhr genutzt werden darf und bereits um 19 Uhr schließt. Die Begründung des Hotels war für uns nicht nachvollziehbar, da es hieß, dass der Bereich sonst zu überfüllt wäre und keinen Erholungsfaktor für die Gäste hätte.
Jedoch konnten wir auch nach 15 Uhr gerade so noch zwei Liegen ergattern. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass der Wellness Bereich für die Größe des Hotels ein wenig zu klein ist.
Ein späterer Check-Out wurde uns angeboten, allerdings hätte dies zusätzlich 40€ pro Person gekostet.
Das Hotelzimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die Dusche komplett verstopft.
Am nächsten Morgen gegen 9 Uhr wurde mit voller Wucht gegen unsere Tür geklopft und jemand hat guten Morgen gerufen.
Kulinarisch war dafür einiges geboten.
Nichtsdestotrotz hat es uns gefallen, aber für eine Nacht hat es sich für unsere Absichten nicht ganz gelohnt…

Absolute Empfehlung!
Wundervoller Aufenthalt, sehr freundliches Personal, sowohl Frühstück, Mittagssnack als auch 5-Gang-Abend-Menü sehr sehr lecker und auch an Vegetarier wird gedacht. Das gesamte Haus inkl. Wellnessbereich ist mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Anwendungen im Betula Spa waren klasse - vor allem Hilde (hoffe, ich habe den Namen richtig verstanden). Wir sind tiefenentspannt und glücklich abgereist und kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder!!

Schönes Wellnesshotel mit Aussicht. Gutes Essen und vor allem ein toller Schwimmteich! Mehrere Saunen Innen- und Außenpools. Hervorragende Massage-Anwendungen. Viele Ladestationen für E-Fahrzeuge. Ruhige Lage am Hang. Zimmer mit Aussicht.
