We had a big apartment at the Gallery Marval. The location is fantastic, as it is bang in the middle of everything. The apartment was very spacious and clean, but dark and very dated. There is a mishmash of furnitures that seem to have been thrown in there with no attempts to make it cosy (probably all of the owners unwanted old furnitures) . Some of the bed side tables had no plug sockets to plug them into. One of the head boards was ripped to shreds. One of the rooms could not be blacked out. The bathroom was very tired. For the price I thought this was less than adequate. The pictures on the site are well taken and make the place look far better than it actually is. It’s a shame because with a little investment they could make these apartments look fantastic and inviting. When you’ve traveled around the world, it’s shocking to pay such an amount for a place that seems so unloved. It has tremendous potential. The welcoming staff was very friendly as well.
