Hotel Nerja Club by Dorobe ★★★

📍 Av. de Pescia, s/n, Nerja

"This hotel used to be great, now it's tired. Shower not working, reported, someone came and we went out for the morning. Came back, shower still not working, reception said that he had fixed it. It was fixed later. Light switch in daughters room not working, told not to use it. This hotel is neglected and a shadow of it's former self."

📍 Avenida Ciudad de Pescia 21, Nerja

"Perhaps there were few guests, there were only the lower part of the two-stage bed, and each two-stage bed had a curtain partition, so it was comfortable to spend like a private room. It was beautiful like a new hostel."

HC Calahonda Beach Nerja

HC Calahonda Beach Nerja ★★★★

📍 C. Prta del Mar, 5, Málaga, Nerja

"This accommodation is a converted ordinary building located in a busy alley, making it somewhat ambiguous to call it a hotel. There is a desk at the entrance, and only one staff member is present. Although the location is in the middle of a busy district and is noisy, it is convenient, and the facilities are clean and tidy. However, the Deluxe Double Room on the second floor with a balcony faces directly across from the balcony of the building opposite, so there is no privacy. If you open the curtains, you can see the room of the apartment across the street, so you cannot open the curtains. Nevertheless, it is a clean, newly built, small hotel."

Hotel Villa Flamenca

Hotel Villa Flamenca ★★★

📍 C. Andalucía, 1, Málaga, Nerja

"Very nice room, nice pool, excellent breakfast, both bar areas were nice with good food and all good prices. Two downsides. Firstly, the bar shuts bang on 11 o'clock, but most disappointing was the reserving of pool sunbeds. Despite notices saying you can't save sunbeds, 99% of guests ran in at 9 a.m., put down their towels on the sunbeds then went for breakfast. One day there were none by 930."

"A little surprise, the five-star resort stayed the night before, this night stayed in two Samsung B&B, but it felt very good, the B&B facilities were relatively new, the housekeeper contact was also very convenient, take the key back, there is no difference from the hotel! ! The location is next to the parking lot of 1 day and 1 euro, and also next to the Spanish National Supermarket, which is very convenient for replenishing food! It is also very close to the European balcony, and the housekeeper also gave the map very intimately, introducing the nearby food and so on."

Hotel Nerja Club by Dorobe ★★★
"Ok so I have given this hotel a 3 out of 5 because i am trying to be fair. It is a budget hotel and you therefore need to have realistic expectations. For example, the hotel itself is a little tired and needs updating and the gym equipment is poor quality, but it is clean. The reception staff were all first class. Very helpful and very friendly. The hotel is a little out from the main village but we like that, however it’s a steep climb back up from the beach (which is good if you want to get some exercise). Now for the bad stuff. We stayed in room 241 which is just beyond the main seating and bar area. We knew we had booked a budget room but we were led to believe it is considered a budget room because it had no balcony. They forget to tell us about the noise levels. Even without any music playing, the noise of people chatting when it was busy was unreal . If you fancy an afternoon nap or an early night (before 10.30) then forget it as it’s too loud to sleep. And when the live music is on it sounds like the singer is in the bedroom with you. The worst part of our stay by far was the food. Poor variety, poor quality and poor quantity. Totally inedible. We made sure we had our main meal of the day in the village at lunch time because we knew we would eat very little at dinner. On one evening I simply had some ice cream because the choice was so bad. For breakfast, we usually had fresh fruit (pineapple and melon) followed by fried eggs on toast however you had to get there early because going at 9.15 meant there was no fruit left and the eggs were swimming in grease and the yolk had gone hard. We therefore had toast that morning. If the food had been better with more choice, it would have made a difference to our stay Overall, not a bad place but I strongly suggest eating out"

"At first, the location on the map was taken in the middle of the health club and the car maintenance station, so everything was perfect except for embarrassment. It's a dormitory because I put a private space on a bunker bed and even a curtain to cover it, but I even felt like a private space. Maybe it was more because it wasn't full that day. First of all, the layout of the bed is very good. It's clean, there are towels, hangers, and plenty of space for hangers. There are plenty of consideration for travelers' convenience. The owner and staff smile and greet and lively. It was a pity that I only stayed for one day."

"Spotless room and bathroom. Bed was comfy and spacious. There’s a small fridge and kettle also in the room which was an added bonus. There were limited coat hangers but luckily we did take some as well."

"A suburb find. Walkable to the beach and the town, this small hotel has everything to offer. A lovely atmosphere created by all the staff, you can tell they all love working here. The rooms were perfect for a couple with plenty of storage, a large shower in the bathroom, and plug sockets in the right places! The breakfasts really set us up for the day - lots of choices, both hot and cold food on offer. Absolutely value for money, we would love to return for another visit. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one."

Hotel Toboso Chaparil ★★★
"My wife and I, two mid-octogenarians, have just spent 28 nights at this hotel. The hotel is well placed in the centre of things, it took me 10 minutes to walk to the centre of this charming little town. The hotel is manned by efficient, helpful professional staff who speak English. No rooms have a sea view but are well appointed, our room 208, had a walk in shower and a balcony with a view of the mountains. Rooms without a balcony are grim. The wardrobe had a foot print of about 55cms so guess who lived out of suitcase for 28 nights? The house-keepers were good at what they did and looked after us very well. The breakfast room and the breakfast layout was awesome, with a wide range of good healthy options, a saving grace for this hotel. Sadly this hotel has no soul or atmosphere, it is what it is, a backpackers refuge. Would, I stay there again? Yes and No, yes as a backpacker, the breakfasts, Wow, as a long stay no."

"The hotel is located in a quiet street near the city centre. The room has a large bed, smart TV, coffee shop, a sofa to rest that makes the room even more comfortable. The room has balcony that gives a garden. We would stay back there!"
