Savoy Hotel

Our room was clean and furnishings are very nice. Bed and pillows are super comfy. Staff are pleasant and helpful. We are seniors and didn't realize the rooms are all on the second level with no elevators. Getting our luggage up the stairs would have been a challenge if it weren't for a very helpful staff member who took care of delivering it to our room for us. The location is perfect being on main street, and the Sushi restaurant is amazing! Food, service and pricing...outstanding! We would give them a 5 star! Where the hotel falls short is the Pet Friendly part. We paid extra because we brought our dog which is totally fine, except there is no grassy area to take your pet for them to do their business. The hotel has a parking lot across the street where we found some weeds for our pet to go. That was VERY UNPLEASANT. Because there is no where convenient for pets to go, there was a lot of dog poop not picked up! A garbage container placed in the lot or near the entrance would be very helpful for those of us who do pick up! We had to bring ours back to our room garage because there was no garbage cans outside.

Good hotel. Small rooms but great amenities and we didn’t spend much time in the room Hot tub was great. Restaurants downstairs are really good. Would stay here again Perfect location. Baker street is a favourite. Nelson is so much fun. Thank you

We stayed for three nights and had a great experience. We arrived early and as our room was ready, we were allowed to check in early. Shivum checked us in and helped us to our room. He always greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. Kaitlyn in guest services was also helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely and clean. The rooftop patio was a pleasant surprise and we used it every evening. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a beautiful suite at the Savoy. The service was lovely, the room is beautiful, well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable. It is very centrally located, which is very convenient, but quiet all the same. Highly recommend this hotel!

We had a most wonderful 3 night stay at the Savoy. The hotel was pretty cool. The room was clean, the beds were amazing, so comfy. The shower was cool, should have come with an instruction manual lol! It was in a good location, we were able to walk all around the town. We ate at the Sushi restaurant, it was very nice. The roof top patio was nice also. A really nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay very much, thank you .

Loved it here. It’s older rooms as it’s an older building but very nice!! Very clean as well. Walking distance to go to all the amazing restaurants and stores and pubs. Would stay here again!!! We all loved it. You won’t go wrong. There is also a nice patio outside and restaurants on site.

Terrible internet, and they charged for parking, and someone was in my spot. I paid $10, and had to park on the street. I wasn't thrilled to learn that there was no elevator and I had to carry up my luggage to my room. Other than that, an excellent location, and a clean room. The only staff member I met was courteous and helpful.

Room was very comfortable with a great bed and pillows. All the heritage details were lovely. I used the hot tub on the rooftop and had beautiful views over the lake. The staff person at reception was very helpful and accommodating. She answered our requests promptly and was able to book the hot tub for me at short notice. Only downside was no elevator.

Very good modern room. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Bar and Japanese sushi restaurant below. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Located at a heritage type building. Don’t be fooled. Rooms are great. Rate should be 4.5. Love to book here again.
