Ruime kamer, en als je de kamer boekt met een bank/zitje, dan heb je er een ruime keuken en wasmachine bij, die je deelt met een andere kamer. Goede airco, late checkout mogelijk tegen betaling. Zwembad is fijn bij deze temperaturen. Op loopafstand van strand en (vooral westerse) restaurants We hadden niet echt een klik met de eigenaar. Die houdt het vrij zakelijk, waar we bij andere verblijven in Sri Lanka meer oprechte interesse zagen. Hij staat ook meer boven zijn personeel dan ernaast.

Netter Empfang, guter Service (Abholung durch Fahrer in der Nacht für 5000 LKR), einfaches Frühstück, Zimmer zweckmäßig für Backpacking. Tolle Gegend mit Restaurants und sehr nahe am Negombo Beach. Fahrt nach Negombo City sehr schnell mit einem Tuk Tuk (500-600 LKR).

I travelled with my husband from Uk to meet his son who lives in New Zealand in Sri Lanka as a half way point. We had a two bedroom apartment for 8 days, which was very spacious and clean. Both rooms had mosquito nets over the bed and very efficient air- conditioning in the entire apartment. There was a very large en-suite bathroom to each room. It had everything you would need for a self catering holiday ,although we ate out . Chams and all his staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were able to arrange some amazing day trips through Chams. As our time in Sri Lanka was relatively short, one of the drivers, Dylan took us to places like Pinnwala elephant orphanage,Kandy on one day and Dambulla and Sigiriya a second day for a reasonable fee and stayed with us all day. This is an alternative to catching the train or bus. There was breakfast every morning of fresh fruit, tea , coffee, egg and sausage, toast and marmalade etc; The pool was very clean and we often had it to ourselves. Christima Residence is very close to many restaurants, bars and shops. Tuk, tuks are plentiful and easy to catch and are an ideal way to go a little further out. I would highly recommend Christima Residence as a place to stay, either for a few days as a stopover for touring the island or longer.

Wir waren hier als Familie mit zwei kleinen Kindern und haben uns in dem familiengeführten Guesthouse sehr wohlgefühlt. Frühstück war einfach aber gut. Der Inhaber hat uns einen Fahrer für die Weiterreise vermittelt und war auch sonst sehr hilfsbereit.

We decided on Christima residence for our first night in Sri Lanka as a base. After our 3 week backpacking we decided to return for our last night too. The staff are super friendly with great tips and ideas. The rooms are a great size with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was one of the cleanest and modern during our stay. To top it off the pool was very clean and perfect after a day's trip. The location is perfect for the beach and there is a fantastic Italian restaurant just 100metres down the street. All in all I would highly recommend Christima residence to anyone staying in Negombo.

Great place to stay! It’s centrally located in the beach area and yet tranquil. Good rooms, clean, good shower, great pool. Very friendly host who speaks fluent English and very helpful. Perfect for the days when you arrive and before you leave back home again (and in between).

Wat hebben wij hier een geweldige tijd gehad we waren 1 week te gast. Met onze kinderen. We hebben genoten van het grote ruime appartement. Van de ontzettende gastvrijheid van de eigenaar. Hij helpt en denkt overal in mee. Top gozer! De vriendelijkheid van hem en behulpzaamheid is enorm. Dit geld ook voor de lieve dames, zijn personeel. Wat een lieve meiden! Ze hebben ons werkelijk verrast. En hierdoor was onze tijd bij hun een geweldige tijd! Het zwembad is heerlijk! Hebben we lekker in gedobberd Wij gaan zeker terug komen!

This is "The best place in negombo". Our favourite place to stay. Feels like home!! Wonderful host Mr. Chamara Fernando and his team are are always ready to serve you with utmost care and importance. Beautiful & fully equipped 2bedroom apartments & Rooms. Lovely step-in pool. Overall 10/10 Excellent place for foreigners!!! Thank you Chamara for yet another wonderful stay!! We stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and washing machine. The pool is wonderful and gardens are very well maintained. The breakfatss are large and delicious! The owner is very kind and helpful - visit Jhony cafe for great kottu. A great value option and a good alternative to staying in Colombo before / after flights.
