I recently stayed at Vivanta Colombo Airport Gardens and had a mixed experience. The pool area is absolutely fabulous, offering a great place to relax. The food exceeded my expectations, with wonderful flavors and a good variety. The staff were notably attentive, contributing positively to the overall experience. However, the pricing felt a bit steep for what was offered, especially given the disappointing room view which was just overlooking buildings, contrary to the picturesque images advertised. Additionally, the terms and conditions were confusing and poorly written, potentially disadvantaging guests. A word of advice: skip the pricey airport shuttle service, which costs 4000 Sri Lankan rupees, and opt for an Uber or PickMe ride, which you can get for around 500 rupees.

Close to the airport , pool, spa, gym facilities available, relaxing atmosphere. Laundry service, pick-up/ drop-off , in case of rain- they have umbrellas. Also, they have bicycles ( if you like healthy drive) . Inside the hotel you will find Spa Cylon body care shop, souvenirs shop, jewelry shop and Cylon tea shop. Concierge can arrange any trip you like.

About 10 minutes from the airport. A sizable commercial hotel. My room was fine; everything worked. There are two restaurants, a fancy looking Chinese which did not go to and a buffet restaurant. The buffet restaurant was fine. Laundry service worked well returning clothes the next day.

We had a very enjoyable stay here, the room was clean and comfortable. We received a lovely fruit platter on arrival too. Breakfast was a highlight! The team went out of their way for us and provided incredible service. Chathuri and Kasun attended our table and were very attentive and took care of our every need. The pastry chef at Vivanta, Noyel, also made us feel incredibly welcome and prepared a beautiful and delicious welcome cake and cookies. Above and beyond our expectations! Left breakfast very full and very content.
