A small town, basic, inexpensive motel for one night shouldn't be memorable but this one was and it's because of the couple who manage it. Nick and Sam were outstanding! Friendly, funny, hardworking and it showed. This simple Route 66 roadside motel is clean, fresh, comfortable, and fairly quiet (we did hear a 2:00 am neighbor arrive). Sam met us in the tiny office for breakfast, again simple, but served with such warmth and kindness that I felt like I was staying with family. Her recommendation for a dinner spot led us to the Wagon Wheel, a local joint for decades.

This is the first motel review I have ever given, but this level of service deserves to be recognized. The couple who manage this property are extraordinary in their work ethic and commitment. They are also genuine, friendly and helpful. This was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in at any price and in any state. It was small, but adequate and equipped with everything my husband and I needed. The bed, pillows and linens were comfortable and the air conditioner was more than adequate and provided white noise that blocked traffic noise although we were very close to the street. We have been on the road for two weeks and just wish there were places like this.

Molto accogliente, staff amichevole, specialmente Sam. Eravamo di passaggio per Las Vegas, abbiamo fatto tappa a Needles, cittadina sulla route 66. Posto tranquillo con fast food e ristoranti. Ritorneremo qui in futuro

I can’t understand how this place got rated so well. After a hard day of driving my husband had to take a cold shower. I complained and I was told keep to running the water. I tried it the next morning, no hot water again. The shower fixture was in such bad shape and so loose there was no way it could be used. The fixture at the sink was frozen so that there was also no hot water at the sink. There was a quarter roll of toilet paper. That’s it. It was my husband’s birthday. What a bad start.

Le Motel est idéalement placé sur la route 66, l’Accueil est chaleureux, la chambre est suffisamment spacieuse pour 3 personnes et le petit déjeuner correct. Nous recommandons pour faire une pause entre LA et le Grand Canyon !

Friendly staff, great location, good price/value quality. I truly enjoyed my stay here. My car had a trailer and I was provided with a convenient spot to park. The room was clean and quiet, and I had an awesome rest. The breakfast was amazing and homestyle, and really enjoyed conversation with the hotel staff.
