Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Needles

We had a overall satisfactory stay, very friendly staff. The facilities are a little bit old.

This was the most terrible experience I've had at this particular motel. 1. Although the room was reserved for three people, and we paid for three people, there were not enough toiletries for three people. 2. The pool was filthy. We were unable to see the bottom of it, and it had a cloudy, green hue. 3. The Internet (required for work (Zoom Conferencing) wasn't working well. I had to reboot several times. I finally gave up. 4. When the TV required updating, management expected us to do it! 5. The ice maker didn't work.

Room was filthy. Door lock was missing. Once you unzipped the mattress pad, The mattress was absolutely disgusting. I'm not sure if this is bed bug feces or mold. We did not stay the night in this room. The second room we stayed in was higher up and the mattress appeared to be clean. I would imagine other rooms closer to the last room probably have the same problem.

No elevator, there needs to be a easier way to access the second level it was very difficult carrying our luggage up and down the stairs.

The room I stayed in was listed as an ADA compliant room. It was not even close to being ADA compartment. There was no way a wheelchair user could get into the bathroom. The bed was blocking the doorway. The fact that the room was also dirty, was minor compared to the handicap accessibility.

It's a great stop after a long drive. Location is top notch. While the breakfast was underwhelming and forgettable at best, the staff, the location and the vibe of the Inn felt just like that,......an Inn for weary travelers. Comfortable, clean and a great respite from the long road.

We arrived ready to take our room shortly before 3 p.m. I had called previously to inquire about the pet fee and was told it was $10 per pet; when I arrived I was told it was $25 per pet. (We have two dogs, so it adds up.) We decided to accept the inflated fee as a possible mistake all around. But my husband wanted to swim and the pool was half empty, and the pool could not be used for several hours. So we decided to cancel. The owner said that would be no problem -- and then charged me the full amount for cancellation, even though it was now only 20 minutes beyond the cancellation period. Had she said she would charge me anyway we would have stayed. Now we are at the nearby Rio del Sol, where the room is twice as big, cleaner, the pool fully filled and the pet fee as quoted on the phone. Do yourself a favor: Avoid the Days Inn. Wyndham ought to pull its branding.
