We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Natchez, MS for one night while traveling. Like many Hilton properties, it is aging poorly and the rooms are in need of renovation. The rugs are seemingly never deep cleaned. My feet, which were only bare on the room floors, left black footsteps in the wet tub. The tub drain desperately needed declogging as the tub gradually filled during my shower. Typical of older hotels, the HVAC sounded like a jet engine. The good news is they appear to have renovated the public space and are working on the exterior. Hopefully, the guest rooms are next. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, providing area and restaurant information. We hit the road early and did not partake of the complementary breakfast.
