It's a bit of a distance from the station, but it was a quiet hotel.

I booked through Trip.com and had already paid in advance with my credit card, but on the day of my stay, I was charged more than double the amount at the hotel reception. Thinking it must be a mistake, I had them check everything and was able to stay for the correct price.

Three bad points: 1. Bath towels are not standard equipment. Small towels are provided, but bath towels cost 210 yen each. I was surprised that there are hotels these days that don't provide bath towels. This was probably the first time I've ever experienced this. 2. Basically, they only accept cash payments. They don't accept credit cards, let alone electronic payments. 3. The bath is only open until 9pm, which is inconvenient. The toilet, sink, and bath are shared, but the price was the same as a regular business hotel. If it was a capsule hotel price, I could tolerate it, but frankly, it's not cost-effective. Perhaps because they are cutting back on labor costs, cleaning was not thorough and the hotel did not feel clean. The owner seems to be elderly, and I get the feeling that he is running the hotel with the mindset of the Showa era.

A hot spring facility in Nasushiobara. You can also stay overnight. I used it for a day trip bath. The exterior is unique with the sphinx and pyramids, but the interior is also a unique space. The hot spring has a large indoor bath and an open-air bath. The hot spring itself is a good hot spring. It is a simple hot spring, and the bathtubs are divided into three according to temperature.
