The location is superb- just 2 blocks from the action yet we experienced zero noise. The rooms are plenty spacious for 3 ladies to share, the breakfast buffet was a step above the normal fare and the pool and gym area are lovely and weren't crowded even though the property was sold out. The newer gym equipment even enticed me to work out while on a girls' trip to Nashville That said, some of the front desk staff should probably move on as they seem to be irritated by guest interactions. However, when some of my difficulties were brought up to management they worked to make things right, even making sure I had good contact information for them in the event any further difficulties occurred. I'm happy to say all ran smoothly after the first 18 hours. I don't want a few bad apples to ruin my otherwise good experience at this property. I will likely stay here again as I still think this is the best property in Nashville for its location, offerings and price point.

The staff was excellent! Front desk and housekeeping! Our room was very comfortable and clean, and I slept very well. I was nervous when pulling into the lot because there was major construction. But all was fine. I can’t mark them down much for construction because it didn’t affect us. You have to be happy they are upgrading. It wasn’t bad, but needed updating. They relegated everything to the first floor because they were renovating the second and third floors. We were in a first floor room which wasn’t renovated yet, but I thought if we hadn’t seen construction we wouldn’t have thought anything negative. They had already renovated the front desk and would be doing the first floor rooms next. The only thing I didn’t like was the shower set up. The door opened on the opposite side of the shower head which was pointed towards me - so when turning on the shower the cold water sprayed out on me. There was no way to get out of the way.

A friend and I stayed here while we were in town for a swim meet. The room was nice, but our AC didn't work. We were switched to another room with no problem. The breakfast was nice, as was the workout room. I would stay here again. This is a good location in the West End area. The parking garage is a tight squeeze though.
