Note by Mint House - Nashville Art District

Hard to find the building. Mint House is a teeny tiny sign. 2C Apartment was cute but VERY dark. Well appointed and comfortable. Main bedroom was very tight. 2nd bedroom with 2 queen bunks worked well for adult kids. Mattresses and pillows were comfortable. Company supplied wrong Apartment Building door code. Had to wait outside in subfreezing weather until another guest let us in who also had the wrong door code initially. Door to a back staircase was open (creepy!) and difficult to secure. Loved the little reading nook. Floors need carpets/rugs as the noise from guests above just walking aroundwas very loud. Location was good. About 4 blocks down to the heart of Broad and the Bridgestone arena. Lots of nice restaurants in the area.

The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are clean, well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. The main floor room we had was slightly below ground level. It was dark, cave-like and quiet musky smelling. You can also hear everything from the hallways and other rooms due to lack of sound proofing.

Great location to Broadway, a coffee shop, a drug store which has groceries, a late night drunk pizza shop, but its the comfort of this place that made it such a great place. Awesome decor, comfortable mattress, and great shower. Oh and near a catholic church.

The beds were very comfortable, and the space was very clean. It was on the smaller size, but they did a decent job with the use of space. We found it was a great location; it is not a bad walk to Broadway. We drove and the public parking garage was a few blocks away, which was only slightly inconvenient specifically loading and unloading.

This was the most disappointing place I’ve ever stayed. When I booked this stay months ago for a girls trip with my daughter, I wanted to stay somewhere unique and had a lot of space. I chose a 2 bed/2 bath, there was no choice of a which room but I chose to pay extra per the pictures that were on the website to be in a room that according to the pictures and description was a large, bright space with an outside terrace/balcony. It looked perfect in the pictures to what I was hoping for my weekend with my daughter. Instead what I got was suite 1B, essentially a basement apartment, no light, and tight spaces.. The suite only had one window was next to the glass back door that led out to the alley with views of the dumpsters for the restaurant next door and open to a public street. Anyone could walk up to the glass back door that didn’t have any curtains for privacy. It was very uncomfortable and felt very unsafe. We definitely couldn’t use the space. We even avoided the living space at night because anyone could just walk up and see into the apartment. The main bathroom was so small that you couldn’t wash your face in the sink because you couldn’t bend to rinse you face without running into the door. The bathroom attached to the front room had black mold on the shower curtain and piles of dirt in the corners. Sleeping. Sleeping was impossible. The split AC units in the apartment would vibrate the entire wall when it turned on and then it would make a horrible noise be

This property exceeded our expectations, and was the perfect place to stay for our weekend in Nashville!
