Grand XIV Naruto has the feel of a castle and allows you to experience an extraordinary experience. Gorgeous as far as the 360 degree view. Although it is old, it is kept well-maintained and doesn't feel old at all, which is probably what makes it such an exclusive place. I stayed in a large type room, and as soon as I entered the room, I was impressed by the ocean view. I went out to the balcony many times and looked at the sea. At Aroma House, it was a hassle to take the bus, but I was able to check the crowd status in advance through the app, so I was able to relax and take a relaxing bath in the spacious bath without crowding. Most of all, I will never forget the dinner I had at Hatsumi during my stay. I stayed on the dinner choice plan and received a small portion. As far as I can tell from the menu, it's a very simple Japanese dish. You might think so, but the dishes are amazing to the eye and go beyond the framework of Japanese cuisine. I take my hat off to the chef's taste. Locally produced and locally consumed, seasonal ingredients were generously used, and each dish was impressive. I was worried that I wouldn't have enough, but I ate my fill. I became a Hatsumi fan. I would like to come to XIV Naruto again to try this dish.

The Hotel is right on top of Japan Railway Tokushima Station and one minute walk from the main bus terminal in Tokushima, too. Very convenient not only to explore the city of Tokushima, but also to explore Tokushima's rich nature and culture, still hidden gem in Japan. Hotel was built about 30 years ago but it is well maintained and rooms are spacious compared with more recent ones. Hotel staffs are very courteous. It forms a part of the station building where you can find many restaurants with Japanese and local flavors as well as souvenir shops.

The hotel is just located on the left side of the station. It’s really wonderful. There is also a convenience store located at the ground floor which also makes our lives so much easier.
The room (Hollywood twin) is a large and spacious room that can easily accommodate the opening of 2 large suitcases (28 inch). The bathroom is also generous in space, and we could actually move around freely and change clothes in the toilet for once (as compared to other chain hotels in Japan). It has all the comforts and amenities of a proper graded hotel, but the air conditioning was poor. Opened the windows but still felt a little warm throughout the night.
The other minor “issue” I observed was how they tried to “automate” the check-in which is a failure in my opinion. Automation is to reduce workflow/ manual work required by parties. However in this case, I had to go to the reception desk for them to make copies of our passport and issue a card (to be used at the check-in machine). Thereafter I have to walk to the machine and insert the card, press a bunch of buttons to be issued the room and room key. So from a customer perspective I’m actually troubled twice, because I need to make 2 stops before actually getting my room. So what’s the point of this check-in machine? Fail to see the benefits of it.

We stayed for two nights and we enjoyed it. Located across the Tokushima JR station and next to a few shopping areas, it's easily accessible. The hotel car park lot (self-park) is just next to the hotel building and the parking fee is 800yen (3pm to 11noon, just one-time entry) and you can pay the fee at the hotel reception. The room we have is deluxe double, double bed at East Annex. The room is clean and comfortable. Just like other Japanese downtown business hotels, the room is not big but we able to open up two suitcases and still have room to move around. Breakfasts have Western & Japanese choices and we especially love they included local food and cuisine. Public onsen is located at the 11/F and we enjoyed it too. Staff are friendly and speak okay English.

It is close to the station, so it is convenient for travel. In addition, the male staff at the front desk is also gentle and quick. The front desk who forgot to give the breakfast ticket, when I entered the room, there was already a room phone. I noticed that I forgot to give it immediately and contacted me. The next morning departure was early, ”it is unpleasant that the hotel breakfast cannot be eaten”, and when I was looking for a cheap place for a night stay, this hit. There are also single, double, twin and family rooms, but if you can sleep cheaply, I recommend ”dormitory”. Toilet shower washbasin is shared. ２ staircase beds lined up, Only the space in the bed is my space (there is no doubt if you can imagine the capsule hotel). The price is the weekday before the consecutive holiday of １１ late month I stayed, the dormitory is １ night tax ２, It was ５００ yen (probably the price will fluctuate depending on the time). I think it is a hotel that can be added to one of the choices if you can walk from Tokushima Station １０ minutes and just sleep. And the mineral water free drink (any bottles in a PET bottle) was an unexpected service.

I stayed at this hotel for a long time to meet my friend who has lived in Komatsu Island for 50 years. The service was full, the twin room was not so small, clean and very liked, such as ２ cans of service and can beer for a consecutive night at check-in. The guests who came together at breakfast were all business travelers, and the number of cars was national. I would like to repeat it next time I visit Anan.

It's not long since the cherry blossoms are still made, and the bath and the room are new and clean! Convenient close to cherry blossoms station The cherry blossom coin laundry is 200 yen for free washing machines. I'm glad the dryer is free. The bath was small, but when I went early, it was empty and I could use it 々. I was grateful for the guide to the lady room. The staff was kind and helpful only to respond to early morning luggage storage. It is used as an inn of pilgrimage. The super hotel in Rojas is the second time. There is also a room area from the last time and it is a hotel that I want to use again. The toilet is narrow as it was in the word of mouth. If you dare say, I said that there is another elevator.

GGuest UserI visited for the first time because of the superb view of the Naruto Strait and the Otsuka Museum of Art, and stayed at the Court d'Azur Suite for 2 nights. The view of the sea from the room is overwhelming, and the sound of the wind and waves from the sea is very pleasant. The open-air bath on the 1st floor and the private bath on the 7th floor were large and comfortable, and the French dinner on the 8th floor was very satisfying with the food, wine and service. At the Otsuka Museum of Art, more than 1,000 works of Western art, from Greece and Rome to pop art, were reproduced, and the comment of the curator's works was interesting and I enjoyed it as much as I could. There was such a wonderful hotel in Naruto! It was good in autumn, but I strongly wanted to come in summer this time.

GGuest UserThe hotel was in a good location as we were visiting family who live nearby. Nice outlook over the water. The room was perfectly adequate for the time we were there but I suggest that the bedding could be updated with a more modern duvet. Toothbrush and paste and comb were provided along with body soap, shampoo and conditioner. Coffee and tea were available at any time.
Japanese breakfast was provided but it was identical for the three days we were there - some variety would have been appreciated. A basic English breakfast of toast, jam and fruit could have been offered catering more to the taste of foreign tourists.
The reception team were very helpful with translations on their phone. The flight of stairs with a suitcase was somewhat daunting!

Very Good
I stayed at this hotel because it was close to the Otsuka Museum of Art. I took a local bus from Tokushima Airport to the hotel, and the bus stop was right in front of the hotel, so it was very convenient. I chose the buffet plan for dinner, so I had to go to the sister hotel, the Grand Hotel, but they gave me a ride there and back. The Naruto Straits could be seen from the room, so I enjoyed the view. I used the large public bath early in the morning, and by chance I was able to see the sunrise in a cloudless sky, which was impressive. I had breakfast early, and my plan was to go directly to the Otsuka Museum of Art, but the Naruto whirlpools were just at high tide, so I walked to the high-speed tide observation boat dock and got on the Uzushio. After that, I walked to the museum and spent the day there, but I think I was able to enjoy sightseeing in Naruto because I was able to stay at Taimaru Kurage. I would like to go to the museum again, so I will use it when I do.

BbutanokakuniI used it for Naruto sightseeing because I received a ticket for the Kaigetsu group by Furusato tax. The location along the coast was good and the view from the room along the sea was outstanding. It is good to use a car, but if you use a bus or train, you can walk to Otsuka International Museum of art for 10 minutes. This distance is a bit neck. The location of the group ”Sakura Maru Kaigetsu” is better. From the Otsuka International Museum of art, it was a distance to walk to the vortex, so I felt a little extra for 10 minutes. I added dinner buffet afterwards, but I wonder if 5500 yen is a little high for guests. The customer service was good and I am generally satisfied, but I want to try other hotels.

老老司机赵师傅The location of the hotel is very suitable for sightseeing, but the traffic is not very convenient. The hotel is guarded by the Naruto Bridge, which is very close to the Vortex Road and the Naruto Park Observatory. It is within walking distance. However, it is far from the tide boat dock. Fortunately, the service staff at the hotel is very enthusiastic. You can drive the guests to the dock and take the bus when you return. It is worth mentioning that the shops and restaurants near the hotel will be closed after 5:30 in the evening. There are no vending machines around the night, and there are no convenience stores. Therefore, it is recommended to book dinner and breakfast in advance.

Aarttravel7It is Park Mizuno in Naruto Park, Tokushima Prefecture. It is just behind the Sentatsu Shiki Observatory. Book in a room with dinner and breakfast. Dinner is made of cherry blossoms in room meals. Especially the boiling of the head of the cherry blossoms was delicious with fat. Breakfast is a venue meal, and the ground is used as well as dinner. The room is a great view of Naruto Strait and Naruto Ohashi bridge. The sunrise is very beautiful in the east direction. The room is large and clean. The hot spring is almost rented and the view is as good as the room. The skin became twitter. I think it is an old building but a great inn that feels polite customer service and maintenance. We also picked up and dropped off to Otsuka Museum of Art. Thank you.
