Gosford Inn Motel

Most comfortable bed and soft sheets. Perfect location for what we went for. Excellent communication to let us know before our room no and where to get the key. Veey happy will stay there again.

Obviously basic but provides all that you need and neat, clean and tidy

It is called Gosford Inn motel but it is $16 by uner to Gosford. Please indicate this on the site. Unless you drive you can't go to shops, clubs or pubs. There is nothing there. Nice clean motel if you're after a bed and hot shower. The manager is helpful and friendly. The place is well setup. The cleaners do a good job and are easy to talk with. It was the wrong place for me. Please update your site to specify the location from shops etc

The hotel had crisp white sheets and very white soft towels. There was a microwave and decent sized bar fridge which was very clean. The TV had NetFlicks and there was shampoo and liquid soap in the shower and by the sink. It is however, a little run down (the slider door to the room did not fully open and the slider door to the bathroom did not close easily). The front of house staff were very nice in staying open late as we drove in from Geelong. The hotel is on the path to major arteries into and out of Gosford. 10 min drive to restaurants was simple to do and they had BBQs available. A big plus, they let you stay with your pup.

The visit started with arriving early to pick up keys, we didn't need nor want to check-in early as we had a function to get to but the gentleman at reception provided us with keys so that we can come back at anytime to get into our room. Thank you for that. We Stayed in a Queen suite: The rooms are very basic, if you are looking for luxury then look elsewhere. However if you need a bed for the night then doesn't hurt to stay here. Our room had a broken shower screen that only opened one panel so had to side ways slide into it, my partner being quite broad struggled to get in so that wasnt good. Towels, face washers, hand towels, floor mats provided. There were 2 sets of 3 different dispensers in the bathroom that provided hand wash, shower gel etc. That was innovative I thought, instead of having little bottles. But, personally I like the little bottles of shampoo and stuff on a trip but not a deal breaker for me I guess. The AC worked, little TV available and a mini fridge. There is also a microwave available. Bed was comfortable, pillows not too bad. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours and if like us you had a family that woke up at 6am screaming and carrying on then your stay would be disappointing. There should be some sort of respect your neighbours sign to be quiet at that time of the morning, I mean come on, I am a mum of a 3 year old wanting to sleep in for once. Gosh dang it !

I read a lot of reviews before booking here, and I have to say this motel was okay to stay in. We have driven from Melbourne to Queensland many, many times, and this is definitely not a one-star motel. The location is two-sided, it was a 10-minute drive into Gosford to get food on the evening we arrived (which is not really an issue for us), but in the morning you are much closer to the Pacific Highway for the onward trip. We were contacted to see what time we'd be arriving which was 5.50 pm, and the most delightful man greeted us. He said he was waiting for us as we were the last check-in, and we were very grateful for that. We dropped the keys off in the key box in the morning as we were leaving before reception opened. We had two rooms, one for us and one for our son with his dogs. Our room was large enough, with a newish carpet, clean, with a fridge (plenty of milk for a tea drinker - thank you) and a microwave. Everything worked and the shower was fine. Our son's room was tiled (good for dogs) and a tad smaller with a small table and chairs while we had a desk with two chairs. His room was a bit noisy since it was near the entry stairs (outside) to other rooms, but that is not really avoidable without changing rooms and the motel was very busy. The bed gave us a good night's sleep and the pillows were fine, linen was clean. This is not a new motel and is clean and has everything you might need, so expectations should be reasonable. It was absolutely fine for us compared to many other one-star places we have stayed in on previous trips.

I had a problem here with the room I was first allocated, both with noisy neighbours and a shower which did not work properly. Luckily the manager was a able to move me to a smaller, much quieter room where I was able to relax, even though they were fully booked. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, not so much the pillows, Small bathroom with a shower with fluctuating temperature, but not as bad as the other. It had a refrigerator, TV, microwave, ironing board, pretty good really for the price. They have a 15m pool, but not heated, temperature 17(63) in mid September. There is a guest laundry. Reception has restricted hours.

Dates don’t allow me to go back far enough. After I had booked management rang me to ask for what time I would be checking in. When I said 6pm she said can’t we get there earlier because she had not had a day off in two weeks. Finally we found out that the key had been left for us in a box and the there was no one at reception.

Probably the worst motel I've ever stayed in. Dirty, run down, over grown gardens, holes in the wall. Needs a paint, refurb and update. It's advertised as Gosford. But it's nowhere near gosford. Actually it's not near anything. I spent over 300 for 3 nights, left after the first night. Don't spend more than 50-60 dollars per night to stay there. Photos are nothing like the actual rooms. Not sure how it's rated as a star hotel.
